Best Italian restaurant ever! The family and food are both amazing! I am a parent of a Centenary University Student and whenever I visit my daughter I come to eat here. The tiramisu and ravioli are as good as anything I’ve had in Italy!!

Came here with my family for a goodbye dinner, and I have to say it was quite cozy and cute inside. They are a BYOB restaurant, so we brought our own wine and our waiter opened and poured it for us throughout the visit making sure our glasses were always full. I strongly suggest they type up the specials for people to read and to view prices. The waiter told us the specials from memory; so of course, all three of us had questions to ask and the waiter was getting angry that we couldn’t remember all of what he just said. After we order, we receive these absolutely delicious breadsticks and they were gracious enough to bring out seconds! I ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, I thought they were really tasty and juicy! I ordered the Chicken Milanese as my entree. I thought the chicken was a bit dry and super thin, it definitely looked like a large piece of chicken but was very deceiving. I was very excited for dessert because I was told by the lady that everything was homemade. I also work in the restaurant industry; I recognized 3 of the desserts right away being from a restaurant company. She then told me that the Tiramisu was a family recipe of theirs and let me say this, it is a must try for sure. Tiramisu is a favorite of mine and it did not disappoint! The lady also sold me on ordering her cappuccino because she makes them really good; it was good and extra foamy. Overall, it was a nice experience. However, I don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon due to the prices. If I knew 3 meatballs were going to be $19 I would have skipped it. Same for some of the other dishes, especially on the specials menu. I get they are going for a more upscale feel but having your waiter and waitress sit a table away from you eating and talking with other workers doesn’t really give off that vibe.
Kid-friendliness: They are wonderful with children. Very accommodating. My grandsons have been there since sitting in high chairs. You can’t go wrong eating anything!!!! I wish I could eat there everyday !!

Recommended dishes: Pollo Milanese, Homemade Angus Beef Meatballs, Branzino with Spinach Tomatoes Artichokes and Capers in a Light White Wine Butter Sauce, Tiramisu, Steak of the Day - 16oz Porterhouse, Lemoncello Marscapone Cake, Octopus, Veal Chop, Chicken Parm
We tried this wonderful restaurant because of the great reviews and were thrilled. I posted a pic of our empty desert plates that had a limoncello and tiramisu because we almost licked the plates clean. Espresso and cappuccino were perfect. Oh and we had wonderful appetizers and dinners too! Charming and wonderful hosts, byob. You won’t be sorry.

Wow! Glad I finally tried this place after being given the recommendation countless times. Lobster bisque, arugula salad with peaches, beets, and blue cheese, and a veal scappolini with sauteed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The desserts were incredible also, especially the limoncello cake, homemade tiramisu, and cappuccinos. We brought our wine from home because you can BYOB. Come here for delicious Italian food in a quiet, beautiful space on Hackettstown's Main Street! (The owners were very kind ?)
Always a fantastic Italian meal-
