Ok, so we came in on a Sunday and sat at the bar it took 15 minutes to be greeted another 10 to get asked what we wanted to order. Once we ordered our drinks we're great. However our appetizers never arrived. Our entrees arrived before the apps almost an hr later. When they arrived my wife's lamb was undercooked and my pasta still snapped like it was out of the box completely undercooked. Not a single member of the staff introduced themselves by name. We let the bartender know and he went to find our food and correct things. He said they let the general manager ....who never came over and introduced himself. Only Tom the bartender made an effort to be personable and rectify things. Tom made sure we didn't get charged for the food we didn't get and corrected our entrees 3.5 hrs later our dinner for two concluded. Our food was ok at best.I might come back for the drinks with Tom but I will eat elsewhere.

Amazing experience. This place is enormous and delicious. The food was spectacular and the service was spot on. We had fresh oysters, mussels, salad, ravioli, and a wonderful crab stack made with avocado, mango salsa and lump crab meat. Dessert we shared a creme brulee and a double espresso. The place was packed as we ended up in the tented area. Enormous bar, the biggest I've seen in years, packed with a lot of beautiful ladies. Very nice staff. 5 stars

4 of us had dinner on Sunday April 7 at 5:30. Apps were good but calamari was overcooked. Table was not provided with any table cloth. Bread crumbs were never cleaned up after apps. We had to brush them off the table. Had to ask for additional silverware, and service was subpar. Had to flag down Jake when we needed another bottle of water. Jake also had a huge stain on his pants and was dressed in attire that was not appropriate for a server at an upscale restaurant. Was disappointed and embarrassed for taking out of town guests to what I described as the best restaurant on Haddon Ave.

What slow service for a Thursday. Our waiter was nice but the service took forever. Waited an hour for 3 salads. Thinking he forgot to put in the order. We had to get take away boxes as it had gotten so late. This place used to be known for its top notch service now I'm not so sure. Food was good. Drinks were on point.

We went for drinks and snacks. I got an AMAZING Lemon Dream Martini and my hubs got a Manhattan Mule. Both very tasty. For food, we got a cheese plate (such good cheeses!) And an app combo that had lobster *stuffed* ravioli (they were fat ravilois!), eggplant stuffed with ricotta and spinach, and shrimp wrapped in pancetta. We were full. Service was excellent.Parking: Free valet!
Capital Grill prices with diner service.We had a reservation for 4 to celebrate a friends birthday. . We drew the short straw and got the table next to the bus station. The entire meal we heard dishes being emptied and it was like being in the kitchen.We ordered drinks and calamari for the table. Our server, Lisa S. brought out the calamari w red sauce, and walks away. We had to ask for plates.My wife and I ordered a salad and veal chop parm to split. Lisa brought out the salad, left our calamari plates with sauce. We had to ask for clean side plates for our salad.For dinner Lisa brings plates with utensils on it for both my wife and myself, and puts the stack in front of me, and walks away. like it’s family style do it yourself plates and utensils. She has a poor attitude and worse serving skills.We ordered two deserts and Needless to say no candle for the birthday. We asked for a candle and she commented they didn’t tell her it was a birthday. No happy birthday, no smile, no sing, nada. Capital grill at least gives you a desert for your birthday and writes Happy Birthday in chocolate Food was good but Will not return.
