What sets Mare Monte apart, is that the placement of the tables allows diners to enjoy a great meal and engage in pleasant conversation without competing conversations from other diners.
Wonderful experience at this restaurant, by far the best food and service in Haddonfield. Pastas & Dessert weren't not only just homemade but also prepared beautifully & delicious. Will be back!
First time there. Food was good, flavorful, but not very good or creative. Our salads were lacking. I ordered the Branzino. Dish had 3 fillets over spinach in a broth. Tasty but not what I expected. Service was just okay. Not attentive. Opened our wine but didn't pour it. Moderately priced. Not sure we will return. Conveniently located to speed line.

Been here a number of times over the last 3 years. Never have had a bad experience. Only think that sometimes becomes burdensome is the noise level in the main room. Some acoustical engineering might easily solve the problem.

We hadn't dined at Mare Monte in a couple of years, but thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food is still outstanding and expertly prepared (I enjoyed both the artichoke appetizer and the bronzino) and the tiramisu was the best I've had. Our server, Mindy, was friendly and candid regarding menu suggestions. She also let us linger over our meal, which was nice since we were catching up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. My only complaint was the noise level, which when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday night (and for the first hour) was extreme. I had to lean across the table to hear my friend. Having said that, I would definitely go back, since the food and service were superior.

Mindy was an amazing waitress! Cannot express that enough. We were celebrating our engagement and she treated us so well. Food also 10/10 veal and gnocchi vodka both amazing. So happy with our first time here and can’t wait to come back!

Seating for 4 on a Saturday at 5:30 with a reservation. Service was quick and friendly. Noise level when the place was full was moderate and the four of us were able to converse pretty well. The courses were delicious and arrived fairly quick.

What an experience!! Try the beet salad, and make sure you have room for desert, I promise you will not regret it. Lovely service and quaint town. I’ll be back with more friends

Customer service is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Food was great, everything was homemade and it was refreshing eating homemade food at a restaurant. The presentation of the food was awesome and the restaurant had a great cozy vibe with dim lights. Amazing place, can’t wait to come back here. Thank you Izzy, great owner!!

Yesterday was my first time at Mare Monte and I have to say I was very impressed. My family chose this place for our Easter dinner. From start to finish, it was amazing! Our server, Mindy, was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the food. She even made my great-aunt laugh which is tough to do! I had the Pappardelle Cavatore pasta and the homemade cheesecake. Both were amazing and you could tell they were both homemade. I will definitely return again soon.
Food and service was very good. I thought it was a little too pricey but that won't stop me from going back. Next time I will ask the price of the daily specials before ordering.

Live the updated dining room. Service was attentive and friendly. The fish special was just ok .. not much flavor and the paring with sweet potatoes sounded good but fell short on flavor and presentation.

Overall great experience here, service was very excellent & the food was just as superb. The sea bream special I had was something that is not easy to find when made so perfectly. Will definitely be back to try more on the menu.

Overall a very good meal, But I made the mistake of not asking the price of the special Flounder Francaise and was in shock as to the $40 price when the bill came. I did not feel it was worth the price even with the little bit of crab on top
