Refreshing Bubble Tea, Shaved Ice, Smoothies… What’s not to like?
After searching the Food Truck Festival for something "Refreshing" we stumbled upon this place. A small truck mainly featuring 'bubble-tea' and shaved ice. The menu is a little small and pretty generic looking but we decided to go with a Strawberry shaved ice (Pink Paradise). Strawberry shaved ice, strawberries, strawberry syrup and boba-balls. Thinking it was going to be very ordinary run of the mill shaved ice, we were pleasantly surprised. They literally shave this ice from a giant block on this neat spinning device, and hand make it start to finish. Adding the toppings sparingly, and precise to make it look as good as it tastes. It was extremely satisfying and most definitely 'refreshing' as we hoped. The ride home was filled with thought of eventually trying other flavors, and dreaming of that wonderful shaved ice. 5 Stars all the way and we can't wait to get more.

I highly recommend trying Cha-Yen. You will not be disappointed. One of my favorites is the Purple Jam snow ice. You have got to try it. An amazing combination of flavours includes taro ice, mochi, and lychee. My other favorite is the Matcha Green Bubble Tea.
