I have been here for lunch, dinner and most recently a wedding and reception in their private event area separate from the restaurant. The food is always amazing and super authentic. Sangria is the best around so make sure to order a pitcher not just a glass.

Food was just ok. Nothing to brag about. I didn't like the fact that when the waiter is telling you the specials. There is no way to know the prices. I order the stake on a stone. Only to be surprised that it was 50.00. Waiter told me that he could brought the stake out already cook from the kitchen. But he never mentioned that if he tossed in front of you on this hot stone it was more expensive ( I guess you are only paying for the show). One waiter brought our food out and by the time of dessert we never saw him again. I finish my dessert and still had to wait 10 min for a coffee. My experience was a bit disappointed. We end up paying 180.00 for 2 plus tip. Way to expensive. I usually go out to eat to different places. But this by far was way to expensive for the experience. I expected more from this place.

I was very disappointed with the food on 3/30/24 I went with my whole family and invited other guests. Our party of 10 all had over cooked, tasteless dishes. This has NEVER happened to us in 24 years that we have patronized them. The worse part was that my daughter got food poisoning and it ruined our Easter after eating bad veal there. Very upsetting, I will never go back there again.

Extremely expensive relative to the quality and taste. The Paella is not good at all. Not tasty, it’s almost as if they have all the ingredients apart and add the seafood to the basic rice. Not worthy and not recommended

Main dishes were done very well and were the stars of the meal. We had a steak on hot plank and a whole fish special. The potatoes and yellow rice that accompanied each was okay. The sangria was really good, although we found the $21 charge for a glass of it and a glass of soda excessive. Receipt was hand written/totaled. Service was fine, one waiter recited all the specials, of which they were a few, we thought that was pretty talented, lol. And, all the other staff seemed to pitch in to manage each white-clothed table. We did have to wait at the front door for about 5 minutes before being acknowledged by a staffer, after he finished preparing a drink and then looked in on some other diners. The restaurant is nicely appointed: soothing yellow walls and calming artwork. It is set up in divided sections with the bar in between, and right off the front entrance. There is ample parking next to it and across the street. If going on a Sunday, try to make a reservation for the main area, the patrons seemed to be enjoying the entertainment over there.

Been here twice.First time was last year in August.Ordered veal and chicken and got red sangria. Honestly for the price, portion and flavor, not worth it. The sangria on the other hand was good.Went there again last night.Got red sangria and calamari. The calamari was basically $20.Not even a full plate and the sauce wasn't even marinara sauce. It was heated up tostitos mild sauce. COME ON AT LEAST TRY TO MAKE SOME MARINARA.Sangria was still good.Kept hearing the staff and some people by the bar say how good the food is there.Honestly, eat somewhere else and if you like the sangria. Get it to go.

On the expensive side. They don’t give you a lot of food for price.

Trenton used to have a reputation for the Italian restaurants in Chambersburg for decades. This is nothing like that era. Malagas is still here and on a Wednesday night it filled up easily. Tonight I had the Langastinos - prawn. Yum! DH had the Paella yum#2! Dear son 1 had pork chops-perfect and Ds#2 had the garlic chicken- perfect. Now add in devoted staff- on weekends in warm months- you have to ask Willy to play his large guitar-(ask for a Beatles song!). There's a small parking lot next to the restaurant and another across the street. Desserts are beautiful and at the end everyone gets a little liquor-or at least my cool table did!
