“We stopped in tonight for takeout and we were not disappointed. Having read reviews and heard from friends how busy it can be, we opted to make sure we could get the food we were so excited about. We got the bruschetta, meatballs, smoked ricotta cavetelli and spaghetti carbonara. Everything was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The one thing I'll say is we never got a text letting us know our order was ready but maybe I misunderstood that that was supposed to happen. Both past dishes were flavorful and delicious. The bruschetta was incredible...so much truffle flavor. The meatballs were moist and flavorful. The staff were pleasant, friendly, and efficient. We will 100% be back.“

“So I have been here twice in one week. I'm mad at myself for never finding this gem sooner. I guess the sign isn't vibrant enough, which me and Ali (one of the employees or even manager not sure) talked about. The sign is apparently orange but comes off as brown lol anyway I found the chicken and beef/lamb gyros excellent. Both seasoned well together with the fresh veggies that go in it. What really tops everything off are them fries! It's legit crack lol it reminded me of my highschool fries (Parsippany High). They made bangin' fries back then. Nice crisp to their fries. I was fortunate enough to even try their Police Milkshake and some baklava which is a sweet dessert! Both great stuff. I like how they use almond milk for their shakes as I am lactose intolerant haha I apologize for not having any photos because I'm super hungry every time and I just wanna eat. “Defying Gravitea is a cute spot for breakfast, coffee/tea, or some little sweets. My mom and I stopped in early one morning and the owner Gina was super friendly and welcoming. The menu is entirely gluten/dairy free and as someone who is not gluten or dairy free, I believe the food was just as tasty, if not better! I had a pot of Rise + Glow tea and French toast. Will definitely be back!“

“Yo I don't know what they put in dem eggs but damn, that chili eggs dish was masterful. It hands down one of my favorite bites at a restaurant. I certainly see what the hype is about and can't wait to go back and try other items. Ok, so why a 4 instead of a 5? Well, here's the thing. It's hard to be both a cafe and a restaurant. Seating is first come, first served so you have to stand there and wait for seats to come available and then rush over before someone else gets there. I've seen places that have the cafe ambiance operate like restaurants to make it a better customer experience. Restaurant may want to consider adding more tables for busier times (weekends and Holidays) and put out the couches and chairs during lighter foot traffic. Also, you can allow for those who are in the cafe area or getting an order to go come up to the counter and order while those who want to sit at a table be seated and waited on. The experience was disorienting until we actually were at a table and then it was great from there. We almost left because it was so crowded and couldn't find a table but in Jersey good eateries are hard to come by. Overall, you will have an amazing experience during non-peak hours because the food a great and the staff were friendly. However, during peak hours can be a bit of a hassle due to finding seating.“

“This is one of my mom's favorite places for coffee. Everything I've tried at Liv Breads is delicious. All the croissants are amazing, but the nutella croissant is ridiculously good. The sandwiches are all fresh, healthy, and satisfying. The coffee is excellent. I love the samples you can try as you wait in line. Had to purchase the cardamon bun after tasting the sample. It is a unique pastry I haven't seen elsewhere, and it is the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and crunchy. Going back soon to try the baguette which looks delicious.“

“Twisted Tulip is a cute and cozy cafe with a very relaxing vibe. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk and the latte of the day 'Vanilla Rose Latte'. The Latte of the day was good but the rose/vanilla aspect was very not very pronounced. The other latter was also good. They offer a good variety of drinks, pastries, sandwiches, etc., The decor was unexpected (graffiti styles) with the name being twisted tulip, but it was a bright fun look. They have stools along a glass window, as will as tables/chairs and a cozy corner with a little couch, and a shelf of books (all very inviting) They also have outdoor seating but there seems to be a lot of construction happening around the building...hopefully it will be done by the time its warm enough to sit outside. “Came from out of town on a Saturday morning and was looking for a nice local coffee shop. Ordered a hazelnut cold brew and really enjoyed it. It was definitely packed in the morning, but we were able to find seating in the back which allowed us to catch up for 2 hours while enjoying a good cup of coffee.“
