We had our son's birthday catered by them and it was great. Very affordable. We spent the same we would have had we done all of the cooking ourselves. The guests loved it. More than enough food, with drinks and churros included. Huge spread. Very professionally handled and will definitely do again. So much easier and El Gallo has great mexican food.

My husband brought home dinner from here he was in the mood for burritos . So as usual my 11 year old and I always order carnitas in our burrito . So my husband called and order 4 burritos 2 of which were filled with carnitas. After my extremely hungry 11 year old ate 3/4 of this damn burrito she pulls out a chunk of RAW pork literally RAW uncooked pork. So of course I was dissecting my burrito which was also filled with raw pork. Very upsetting after spending 75$ on 4 burritos 2 of which uneatable. Still trying to figure out how someone doesn’t see that they filled 2 burritos with raw meat. This was my first time visiting this establishment I wouldn’t recommend nor will I be back considering how sick my daughter could have gotten . This is what my daughter pulled out of her mouth .

The service was excellent. What was served was not. I was there for dinner. I had nachos. Completely tasteless. They missed being the worst I have ever had only because they didn't have canned Hormel chili on them. The meat that was on them was in tiny bits. It was dried out. It had no flavor. There were no jalapenos. There were no beans. There was no tomato, lettuce, or green pepper. Chips, tiny flecks of overdone meat, an elaborate design of crema on top and a small scoop of guac: that was it. The restaurant was freezing cold. It looks like a high school cafeteria. I won't eat there again.

The food was bland! Somehow the pico de gallo didn't even have flavor. Our group ordered 2 burrito bowls and 2 quesadillas. There was not a single hint of flavor in any of it. We tried this place out because it's local and we wanted to support a small business. We would've spent less money at chipotle or qdoba and at least had food with some sort of flavor. We do intend on trying this place again because maybe they had an off day when we went. I do hope they find their way to the spice rack and throw some FLAVOR AND PASSION into the food.

I came here hungry for just a burrito, but ended up getting a whole different experience! You can tell the chefs put love and effort into the food they make, everything is fresh and tasty! I ended up settling on a chicken quesadilla with a side of refried beans and it definitely hit the spot. And like any authentic Mexican restaurant, they give you fresh chips and salsa once you sit down (always reassures me that I'm not about to be served microwave food!!!)The owner Rey was our host for the evening and you can tell he cares about his business. He's extremely personable and makes sure his guests are happy and taken care of. 10/10 job on his part!If you're in the area don't pass this place up. You have to find parking on the street but don't let that stop you from coming here - it's worth it! I'll be sure to pass by again next time I'm in the area, I need to try the rest of the menu! ?

We had take out of Taquitos, enchiladas mole and a veggie quesadilla. All was somewhat bland and no sides with the quesadillas was a surprise. Not great for the price

So glad to support my local Mexican-American restaurant. Prices are a little high but understandable given their downtown location with occasional outdoor dining, very fresh food, and great service.Ordered vegetarian fajitas and quesadillas to share between two people, with side order of rice and beans. It was more than enough and very good. Ordered spicy for the fajitas and they came through. We finished our tortillas for our fajita order and they kindly gave a few more. My friend couldn’t resist and finished off all our food despite being full. IVegetarian options: Recommend rice & beans and quesadillasParking: While downtown street parallel parking is a challenge, there’s plenty of normal parking spots half a block down along the train tracks.

Small sit-down joint with murals on the walls, friendly owner.Puebla burrito changed my mind about Molé, and the chicken was moist and flavorful.Spicy salsa with great flavor.Churros and tres leche are a great end note.

After moving from Arizona over three years ago, I have been searching for a place that could get me my fix of quality Mexican cuisine. This is that place.A comfortable and pristinely clean place. Quality food and ingredients. Attentive service. And the best molé I have had in my life.We found this place on a whim and we are so glad that we did. The Puebla burrito had the mole sauce and the dish was perfectly prepared. The enchilada Suizas was delicious and I would have greedily ate more if I could. So delicious. Lastly the steak burrito bowl was flavorful and well prepared. We finished it all with dessert of churros and tres leches cake. A great way to end a wonderful meal.We are so looking forward to a return visit with our friends, and turn other people onto this gem.Vegetarian options: AvailableKid-friendliness: Kid friendly and comfortable for kids
