“Drove by and decided to stop and get a Cuban sandwich for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered and walked out with my order within 10-15 minutes, so service was quick and everyone I interacted with was very nice. It also came with fries which were crispy even after bringing them home in the takeout box. Will be a new go to spot for me when craving a cuban sandwich.“

“I recently moved to jersey from nyc and one of things I missed the most is halal food. This place really hits the spot, the gyro platter is really good. The rice and meat is seasoned really well. The white sauce passes the test but the hot sauce is weak. The price isn't nyc prices but the 13 bucks you pay you get a pretty generous amount. Definitely good to coming back.“

I came to this Taste the Top like a Yelp Elite event today thanks to Sarah and her team. Located in Wayne off of Valley Road, Jackie Small is a bright, comfortable, and cozy eatery with 13 two-seater tables open during breakfast and lunch. There was no wait upon entering and being greeted by the staff, Hector. Their menu, inspired by traditional Middle Eastern recipes, is vast, featuring their popular shawarma grain bowl, Greek salad, as well as French toast, avocado toast, grilled cheese, blueberry pancakes, veggie bowls, BLT's, etc. It's first come, first served, as one orders at the counter, has a seat, and they'll deliver your food to your table. I decided on Smalls Scramble consisting of 3 eggs soft-scrambled, Gruyere cheese, roasted tomatoes, truffle home fries, and multi-grain toast. To wash it down, I went for the Mango Supreme smoothie (mango nectar, strawberry, banana, honey, and pineapple). The food was perfect—great portions and very good quality. The smoothie was delicious and refreshing. This place checked all the boxes, which I can recommend.“

“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“

“I am glad I saw their delivery van when I was driving by. I did a Uturn and hoped I stumbled on a yummy bakery. This place is gem. Small space for dining in so I decided to order a cappuccino and almond croissant to go and drive to a nearby park. I also got a container of their poppyseed hamantaschen cookies. Everything was top notch and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. First authentic croissant I have had in recent memory. I really appreciate that the baked goods were flavorful and not sugary. “Been meaning to try this place for awhile , finally went today and it didn't't disappoint. I placed an order for 60 Lahamacun and it was told it will be ready. Went to pick up and it was ready on time. They pack every 10 in a neat box. Fresh bread was just coming out of the oven and I had to try. The lahamacun is thin and made fresh, the seasoning was perfect. One of the best I tasted in NJ. The bread was fresh, soft and delicious also. Definitely going back to try the pides and pizzas. The staff was super friendly and even helped carry the boxes to my car.“

I had a side order of hummus which was clearly homemade and it was a generous portion. So much so that I had to take my tuna sandwich to go. Even the sandwich was enough for two people. The smoothies looked yummy, as I saw many customers ordering them. Next time! There about 8 small tables so it may be tough to find a seat; however I was able to get one for just me. They took care of all our needs with kindness & gentleness while allowing us to enjoy our time together.The food tasted as if from FARM TO TABLE...fresh, crisp, warm and light. The arepas were perfect...my grandma and mom are straight from Colombia so arepas are huge...these meet the criteria, soft but cooked on the inside and grilled perfectly, moist not dry. My son's Eggs Benedict was delish and the bread wasn't the usual English muffin instead a thick slice of heavenly toast. The avocado toast was unbelievable and scrumptious. I had both Arepa dishes...both very good but the beef and cheese was exceptional :)Look forward to going back!“

“Step into déjà vu restaurant in Garfield New Jersey and enjoy the allure of Balkan food. I started off with some great appetizers and I highly recommend the melted cheese dip. I really enjoyed the chicken rolls wrapped in bacon and stuff with provolone cheese. Don’t skip out on dessert, then Nutella and banana crêpes are homemade and a must try. I also enjoyed a very delicious strawberry margarita. The staff was very attentive, and the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. The spot is great for a girls night out, date night, a family dinner. “My family and I ate at Sophia's for Mother's Day. Originally, we were a party of 6, but then we had unexpected guests arrive from out of town and Sophia's was kind enough to accommodate them without much notice! The service was impeccable! The food was sensational, very authentic and cooked to perfection. We were lucky enough to be served by Tony who was very attentive without being hovering. He was also funny, willing to take pictures for us and if you ask, he'll flex his muscles for you! The wait staff was friendly, everybody seemed happy to be there.
