I went one time last year and so far 2024 have gone back 5 times. Well going back tonight and tomorrow. So that makes 7 times so far. I bring different people and the all love the food and the great staff. I highly recommend this restaurant, and you can bring your own wines. we waited 40 minutes for a table for hibachi even tho we had a reservation. then once we finally sat down we waited another hour for the chef to come. the food was terrible and it was so salty and gross. it was not a good experience and the bathrooms had no toilet paper.

I live over in Union Beach and didn't think there was much around me for a casual date night. We found this place online, and it was BYOB, so we figured we'd try it out.We both actually enjoyed it a lot. It's a small little Japanese & Sushi restaurant and I think some of the reviews don't really consider that. There aren't a ton of people working there which is fine with us, but they are fast and they move through the restaurant the best they can. We were seated immediately, and we had our food in under 10 minutes of ordering; and the waitress kept following up with us.The food is actually great. Sushi was well balanced and fresh, soup was warm on a cold night, and the ginger salad was on par with any Japanese restaurant I've ever been too. Prices were more than reasonable and fair too. I grabbed a menu for takeout and to have. Definitely will be going back and definitely recommend.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free

I love the food here. Whether I'm here for the hibachi or sushi. They have the best Kani salad around! I have yet to not enjoy my meals here.
A gold standard for Hibachi dining. The food has always been top notch. I have always left extremely satisfied and with leftovers. It's commonly said that they are a bit pricey, but they absolutely knock it out of the park every time. They should charge more. It's that good.Edit:Moved to PA for over a year and came back to visit. Had dinner here again and now I wish I never moved ?. No comparison, the food here is the best! Only complaint is that there is not enough wait staff, but it's worth it regardless.
