Best smashburgers around. Definitely try the #1 with loaded fries. Husband got the burger with egg and side of onion petals. Everything was delicious. Overall good prices, nice staff, cool location inside a local bar so you can get your drinks and eat great food. We will be back.

The food was good. I got the loaded fries , bbq bacon tender melt sandwich , and a brunch smash burger with bacon and I would 100% get it again. For my first time there the ambiance kinda surprised me , it's located inside of a local bar. However the service was great, the staff were kind and welcoming.

It's inside a very nice little locals bar, but definitely welcoming to everyone. Staff and patrons are very nice. They have a small selection of beer but good choices, seemed to have decent liquor selection as well. They also have a little section to purchase for home. We got a couple voodoo rangers, which is our regular anyway, so it was nice to see it on tap. We ordered the salt n vinegar fries and they were ??? can't wait to go back and try other stuff. The whole menu sounded delicious and the glorious aromas from the kitchen was tempting us to order. We live just up the road and would pass this place all the time, and I'm glad we stopped in. Looking forward to trying the other options on the menu!Parking: Its probably a 20 car lot or so, but theres definitely spots. There's also street parking available if needed.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have ramps available for access.

I was craving a smash burger and when I got here, that's what I ordered along with the Chicken Quesadilla. Both the Quesadilla and Smash Burger were delicious and tasted great. Also, the fries were a pretty sufficient size and portion and tasted great with ketchup.Will definitely be coming back for more burgers. I'm tempted to try the variations of the smash burger, especially the mushroom swiss.Mark, the bartender is good people. He seemed friendly and welcoming.Parking: It's sufficient.

A fifth star for being in a dive bar... Saw an article recently about Hey Burger online. If you're looking for this place, they are located inside of Nic's Hometown Tavern. That said, I came in earlier today right after they opened. For her, #1 smash burger. That had some kind of special sauce, pickle, cheese and onion. I chose the Brunch smash burger. That one had a fried egg and added pork roll. Or you can add bacon instead. They were both very good. Prices are about $15-17 each. For what it's worth, there are more than just burgers on the menu. And yes I had a cold one at the bar while waiting for my order. Glad I found this place. :)

Went to Nic's a couple of times for some burgers and a beer with friends. I have to admit that the owner of Hey Burger is a friend of mine but with that being said up front, ya gotta try the food! The burgers are delicious and my fav so far is the cheesesteak sandwich. I am just about to place an order. Will be stopping again.

I love this bar! You can tell when you walk in that this is a local "dive" bar (in a very good way) reminiscent of the bars we went to and had a great time at in the 80s. The beer is ice cold! The servers are friendly! They have Quick Draw! They have a jukebox! They have TVs with sports on! They have carry out! With all that being said, I never thought to order food; until I did! Get the burger! It is one of the best I've ever eaten. Right up there with Barnacle Bills in Rumson. It was done perfectly; juicy and delicious. The bacon was crisp (as I requested). The bun was soft and absorbed all the juiciness! The fries were crispy and perfectly salted. If your looking for something else, the Nashville chicken was delicious as were the wings. Their chicken selections are made with the breast meat and were also cooked perfectly. Their food really surprised me because the place looks just like a regular local bar. No frills. But one of my favorite places to go to in Monmouth County. Shout out to Mike, Mark, and Jimmy who kept the ice cold beers coming and did it with a smile and some friendly conversation.
