Had been looking to go to the Driftwood since my daughters were little kids. They are now both 21+ and we were visiting friends in the area over Memorial Day Weekend and we decided to go. It was great, actually. Of course it is a modest establishment attached to a liquor store, so it's a dive bar, but in a good way. Very nice local place to stop in and have a drink. The bartender Jen is very nice and the patrons as well! Convenient if you have time to kill waiting for the seastreak ferry just a few minutes away.

A local bar that always has sports on the TVs. Very casual ambiance. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced but take-out bottles and cans are cheaper elsewhere, but I think this is the only choice in highlands for purchasing booze to go. People who work here and guests are friendly. Average customer age is probably around 45.
