The food is nasty the wings where ok but where black I do not recommend the pork fried rice is slimy and taste like old oil I am very disappointed and it was 17 dollars for pork fried rice with chicken wings as I’m writing my stomach is hurting I just ate had to stop it is nasty ? it smells like old oil very nasty I ate the chicken wings cuz I was starving but it is nasty never agin

We sat down as we entered, and were not greeted at all. She walked over with a pad to take our order and didn’t say anything. We said we’re not quite ready. We asked for tea, and they said they had no teabags. We placed our order which included soup. The hot and sour soup was bland and tasteless. The egg drop soup was watery and lukewarm. We asked her some noodles which they brought. We then asked for some duck sauce. They gave it to us in packets and provided no bowl for dipping. Our lunch, entrées arrived. The meat and vegetables were good. However, the rice had no taste. It was probably the worst Chinese food experience we’ve ever had. When we were ready to leave, we had to ask for the check. At no time did anybody ask us if we needed anything or how our meal was. Please don’t waste your time.

The woman was rude right from the start, the table we sat at was not cleaned, leftover rice all over it. Decided to take food to go rather then chance dirty dishes n utensils. As I left I realized she did not put my soups in bag, when I went back in to tell her,she starts loudly “ its in the bag, its in the bag”, no it was not, she goes in back comes back yelling “only fried rice, only fried rice, no soup” I know theres no soup thats why Im back. “ No soup included “ shes yelling. YES as per your menu soup and fried rice included in combo, she continues yelling no, while I have menu in hand. Not worth the debate I leave, food I did receive was not at all good, chicken in lo mein , Im not sure it was chicken, it was just nasty. Not to mention way over priced .STAY AWAY FAR AWAY

I want to vomit!!!!!!! I just ordered sesame chicken and white rice. I was too hungry to wait to get to my destination so I pulled over I. The parking lot to eat. About 3/4 thru, a long hair at least 12 inches was entangled in my rice. I pulled right back inside and demanded my money back. It came with a side which of course ai started drinking and he wanted to charge me for the soda. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Take your raggedy soda and I will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. They are nasty. As I came to leave a review, I see someone e had the same thing just 4 months ago. Omg. I told them if they didn’t give me my money I would take the hair to a lab for dna testing. The man came from the back and was yelling at the girl who appeared to be the daughter and the woman sitting down. He told her to give me my money and I took it and left. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am seriously sick to my stomach.

Eat Somewhere Else. I was back in the area yesterday and thought I would eat at China Moon again. Big Mistake. I thought for sure they had make a mistake on my bill. 22.95 for a Lrg boneless spareribs and 7.50 for a large white rice!!! We also order a small beef Lo mein and 2 eggs rolls. Total cost was over $50!! That's insane for food that wasn't even good. I know times are tuff but 7.50 for a container of rice is absolutely insane. Never again. There are better places that won't cost a fortune.

We have ordered take out from China Moon, Hillsborough, for many years. My wife likes the house fried rice, and we usually get the Shrimp with Lobster sauce. We also got an order of chicken in garlic sauce which was nice too. The food is reasonably good, the quantities are generous, and the prices are reasonable as well. They had closed briefly, and since reopening their prices have increased, as with all businesses. They are also quite prompt with the preparation, so I don't remember having to wait too long. I usually walk in, place an order and do my grocery shopping in Shoprite, and by the time I come back the food is ready. They are a bit better than some of the other smaller Chinese restaurants in the area. They are a small "mom and pop" business, and so it is important to support them. This is not a Michelin star establishment, so don't hold them up to that level of expectations.

DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM CHINA MOON IN HILLSBOROUGH!!!! I found a long black hair in my food and immediately closed the container to return it. My husband understandably, being completely grossed out, stopped eating his food as well. We go to return it and the woman (possibly the owner) begins arguing with my husband saying that the hair is "not any of their employees hair" and did not want to refund us. Mind you, the hair was literally baked into the rice. After almost 15 mins of back and forth with no apology whatsoever from any of the employees, she ended up only refunding my meal and not my husband's because he "ate some of it already". UNREAL! We obviously will never return and I just had to warn all of you as well. Cleary unsanitary food, with even worse customer service.

My husband went out to pick up our order of General Tso's chicken and 2 vegetable rolls. Well they handed him a bag right side up so he carried it back to the car and sat it down on the car seat in the same direction. Little did he know that it had been turned sideways within the bag and the staff didn't tell him to lay it down. So his coat is soaked with juice from the meal and his car seat all stained. Then he gets home and the rolls are so tiny that they look like they came out of a box. The food overall was fair but the price tag was $$$$. That should never have been so expensive. Bye Bye China Moon. Never again.
