I want to love this place and give it so many chances. The staff is poorly trained, not clean, and they are always understaffed. They spend time taking new walk in orders and don’t start working on orders that have been places. I waited 24 minutes for an Açai bowl and a smoothie due to only one employee working (don’t blame her when people walk in and she needs to ring them up). Just has much potential but poorly managed.

Any time I visit for lunch, the team members Are always happy, smiling, and greeting you as soon as you enter. Great service and great food!

Love the food. This location is poorly managed. It’s an Acai place, yet today they ran out of Acai. There’s 3 kinds of rice and my order was taken and I waited some time before being told they’re out of rice and it takes a half-hour to prep. I lament and make two identical orders with what’s available to keep things simple. I get home and find out I have two different things. What. I want to note that it wasn’t busy, the place was practically empty, yet all this still happened. When I called to ask about it. The staff audaciously asked why can’t I just eat the wrong order. Didn’t even get a refund / they didn’t want me to speak to their manager. Don’t waste your time.

Poorly ran... They run out of main ingredients. The people working there are not properly trained and look dirty while preparing food. It was an uncomfortable experience this time around.. which is why I’m leaving a review. I gave this place multiple chances and this was my last time trying. Get the owner in there to fix the business before there is no business.

Found this place by accident and now Trying to get here about once a week for poke bowl.I find the tuna and salmon very fresh. The toppings are fine and fresh too. I like the cilantro dressing. Bowls seem large and I rarely finish it so for me makes nice later snack or light dinnerLadies there are great.Attentive.Hard to find a healthier fresher lunch anywhere else. Thanks!

It’s good to have a Poke Place in Hillsborough. They do both Poke and Açaí Bowls- I have only tried the poke and it’s decent. It’s not super awesome in taste, but it’s so close and convenient that I am glad this place exists. The service staff is awesome and customer friendly. Through no fault of their own, sometimes they may be short on ingredients like some of the protein- it’s a global supply chain problem, so if you are craving something particular, call ahead to make sure they have it before you drive over. Their fruit arrangements looks pretty awesome as well. It’s on the pricier side of poke, so it would be nice if they were able to drop the prices slightly. But otherwise an awesome place to grab a lunch, even dinner for takeout.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from.

Went here with my girlfriend, we each got a poke bowl. Talk about disappointing.. they were each some of the driest, blandest things we have ever had. Mine had an insultingly miniscule mount of sauce and toppings. Her bowl had no sauce at all. We paid 35 bucks for bland brown rice with plain fish.. truly disappointing. Never coming back.

I became obsessed with the coconut bowl and was buying it about 4 x's a week (and it is not close to me so I was going out of my way) for about 5 months. The bowl was always prepared well with enough of the base and toppings. Recently the portion has been cut more than half and the base is now less than 1/4 of the container! I purchased 3 more times to see if it was an isolated mistake. Now it's no longer worth spending the $13-14 for the bowl and I refuse to go out of my way to get what's not worth the price and the hassle of the plaza's parking.Parking: Not enough parking for the size of the plaza's businesses.

The ladies behind the counter are awesome!! Very kind sweet and patient. I wasn’t a fan of the Green Energy smoothie.. I think I ordered something that didn’t meet my taste buds, I just wanted to try. I also ordered the chicken cesar wrap. I shouldn’t have… it’s a staple and it wasn’t really good. I want to go back to try again… but when it’s 0/2… it’s hard to imagine spending money. It’s not the staff, atmosphere, or cleanliness… it’s unfortunately not a tasty product. I would suggest ordering their flower bouquets made of fruit. They were extremely pretty.

First time here- I ordered a poke bowl. I was going to get 2 proteins- chicken and shrimp but they were out of chicken. The ingredients were good but the the bowl was drowning in both sauces I ordered that I couldn’t eat it, rather disappointing ($18 with tip). My take away- don’t assume the sauce will be on the side like I did- order that way.

Tried to order 2 custom poke bowls, the ordering site wasn't working so I called, they were out of rice. How are they in business?

I swear....I've ordered SEVERAL TIMES just to see if maybe my experiences were just isolated issues with this store but NOPE! They are just terrible. Terrible customer service, which is basically what it comes down to here. First off today I placed an order for two custom poke bowls and a custom açaí bowl as I'm sure most customers do, and NONE - not one - of them were prepared according to the customizations we requested online. So I sent my husband back to the store with all three and screenshots of the customizations to have them fixed. Before he left though I called the store to let them know that they were all wrong and needed to be corrected, to which I got a very sarcastic and defensive "what are you talking about??" from the woman that answered the phone. Of course this sent my annoyance to the next level. So I told her what I ordered only to have her tell me that one of the ingredients I PAID for they didn't have so naturally I requested a refund for item. Then she told me they would redo my order. So my husband headed to the store however when he got there, he had to wait 15 minutes for them to remake the bowls, then get told some of the ingredients they didn't have. Anyway, he finally came back home and guess what??? Poke bowl still wrong. He actually had to assemble his bowl himself because they gave him his ingredients in two separate cardboard containers. Needless to say, I called the store back again to let them know that my order was wrong YET AGAIN, and that I was coming down with my card and I wanted a full refund for my order. So a third visit to the store later, I requested a full refund for my order, and just left my poke bowl on the counter. And will not look back.I really did try to like this store. I did. But honestly, how many times can you get an order wrong when you have a literal list of items to put together??? And this is not my first bad experience with this place, this just happens to be yet another bad experience with this Playa Bowls knock off. But it will be my last. Very disappointing.

We love this place. Great service. Fruit bowls - delicious. Poke bowls - are the best!

My uncle and I come here regularly for fresh healthy and delicious smoothies and wraps. They also have acai bowls and an extensive menu to try. Love these healthy foods that taste so good. The people that work here are absolutely wonderful and caring. They remember my uncle and know what he wants when he walks in. So grateful that they're close by and we can come here regularly. Check this place out you will not be disappointed!
