Waited about 20 minutes just for a drink order and we were sitting at the bar. The female bartender was clearly inebriated and chatting with regulars.

I really like the food here, it is a go to for bar food while watching a game and such. Although the food is good, I feel during delivery they are skimpy with their side orders. You can see in the picture I ordered a side of fries. They were $8, for $8 I should not be able the see the bottom of this half full tiny container. Disappointed I can not trust take out orders from a place I really like to eat at.

Came here on a Friday night around 7pm.We sat outside & you can hear the music from inside - which was great!We ordered the Nachos 10/10, Burger 10/10 and their wings 8/10.Highly recommend!

So this is a review I never thought I would give. I went to Black Bear today to order my all time favorite things, wings and criss cut fries. And for the first time, I have to say it was not good. I asked for sweet chili wings to go and they never tossed the wings in the sweet chili so they could be covered. They just put the wings in the packaging and poured the sauce and all the sauce was in the bottom. The wings tasted like they were sitting out for a few days and they just put them back in the oil and the fries tasted the same way. Nothing tastes fresh and the celery was also limp and not fresh. This really hurts my heart because this was my all time favorite place to get wings. I'm not In Hoboken often but when I am, that's usually where I'd go. So sad by this. Like REALLY..
This establishment does not serve Hennessey!! When asked why...the comment was we don't serve that type of crowd here???

Cool place with a laid back vibe. Not a ton of craft beer on tap but some good offerings. Our food was DELICIOUS! we had pickle chips and they were nice any crunchy. I had a burger that was amazing and my wife had a chicken sandwich that she really enjoyed.

Went with my wife today after walking by. It looked like it had potential! They did disappoint. We went for the nachos which were stale, lacked enough guacamole and sour cream, as well as just in general umph. It was all around stale. The fries were tasty but also just about all ends- it's like we got the end of the bag of fries. My wife had the shrimp tacos and said they were ok. All around, didn't hit. Maybe we caught them on an off day?
