We booked a day before we arrived for my wife’s birthday and upon arriving the hostess told us there was no reservation, then once we showed her proof of the reservation she claimed that they had changed it to walk in only and that we couldn’t get a table unless we waited for 20-25 minutes. When we told her there’s no point in the reservation she started yelling at us, was extremely rude and couldn’t care less about her terrible attitude. She never apologised, and seeing the other reviews of this place I’m surprised it’s still open. If you care about a good dining experience and good food you should definitely avoid this place, terrible food terrible staff and extremely poor atmosphere overall. 0/5

I WISH I could put 0 stars. We made a reservation the day before for my moms birthday and we walk in and say we have a reservation, the woman then tells us that there is no reservation for today. We told her that we called and could show her the call log. Then the woman checks her screen again and then looks at us and rudely tells us that she sees the reservation but there’s no tables inside. Mind you, it’s 92° outside. We ask why they wouldn’t just reserve a table inside, since that’s what a reservation is. Then she started raising her voice and just telling us there’s nothing she can do. We started getting a little annoyed since she didn’t say sorry or even show any apologetic gestures at all. We ended up leaving but even after we told her she should’ve said sorry or something instead of being so cold about them messing up our reservation on my moms birthday, she still didn’t apologize. 0/5 stars.

I made a reservation the day before for my moms birthday and when we arrived the hostess at the front was extremely rude, first claimed that we had no reservation, then once she saw our reservation was in fact placed she claimed there was no space and it wasn’t her problem and proceeded to yell at my family and I without apologizing a single time. The whole staff is very poorly trained and the food has taken a considerable downturn, I’m surprised this place is still in business.

Honestly, kind of disappointed with this place! I had high hopes :( Guac was below average, had no lime, tomato, onion.. so THAT was disappointing. The drinks were made poorly, we could barely finish them (and I love me a margarita). We had the chicken, Al pastor, and birria tacos; no complaints about the tacos, but also nothing to write home about.Service was below average, only 1 of our 3 servers were attentive and friendly.Great spot outside to people watch.

I was so happy to be invited to this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. When I walked up, there was indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant was super cute. I walked in and was seated and served by Julio. He was great! I started with red sangria, and it was tasty. I then had the shrimp for an appetizer, and it was delicious! I then had the chicken tostados and chicken tacos. The chicken was a bit bland so I didn't enjoy it as much but the salsas they gave were very good with it. I will say I had a good experience. The chicken just needed more seasoning.

The chips and guacamole was so fresh and good and the salsa was a little spicy and the watermelon juice was so fresh and good.Vegetarian options: They have vegetables and fruit.

Very good restaurant. Went there during happy hour. Menu is simple and easy to understand. Food absolutely delicious and their margaritas are out of this world. Great all around service. Place really tends to the customers needs

Charritos recently rebranded as a taqueria and it was a genius decision. The food is amazing and the service prompt and friendly. I love it here.

This was our 1st Hoboken experience. I must say this spot doesn't disappoint! Food was delicious, the service was great! Loved the ambiance. They had great music playing throughout our entire time there. Truly a great experience. Definitely worth trying. Will be returning.

Doesn't look like much but I was dying of hunger so I went in. Wow, it look so much different in the inside. There are at least a rainbow of colors. The best part about the experience was definitely the waiter making the guacamole in front of you. The tacos Al pastor were really nice tender and juicy. The horchata was not to sweet but not bland either, this place is a great place to eat because the waiter are nice. The only problem is that it is really hard to find parking but other than that it's a great place.

Food's great and so are the drinks. However Queso fundido w chorizo didn't really have any chorizo. It was more like queso and chorizo grease. Other than that, the tacos were def coming back

Horrible experience. We visited on a rainy day with our daughter who is 20 months old. Asked to be seated outdoors- the server said that was not possible as they had no outdoor umbrellas. We proceeded to sit under a tree to enjoy being outdoors. 20 mins later a white group walks in, gets seated outdoors, umbrellas arrive to shield them from the rain. Never faced such open clearly racist treatment in Hoboken. Left a poor taste in our mouths. The rest of the establishment washed their hands of the affair placing all the blame squarely on the server. Needless to say will never be visiting them again. I did give it back to them as well- no ways will i be taking racist treatment in front of my daughter. She needs to learn to stand up for herself in a shitty world...
