The staff needs training. I asked about my takeout order and I didn’t get what I was told. Ordered a mango mojito while I waited. I had to return the drink. Did not taste like a mango mojito at all. The bartender insisted he used mango but it tasted as a watered down pineapple mojito. Not tasteful at all. I was offered another drink by another bartender, by then I was turned off. What I paid for 2 chicken skewers is not worth my money. Very disappointing. Will not try this place again.

I was excited to try this place since they have great happy hour specials and I'm a fan of Cuban food. Honestly, I was a little disappointed. I'm not sure if it was because our booth was in the very back of the restaurant, but service was slow at the start of our meal. The waitstaff was constantly gathered around the bar drink well in a circle talking, so we had to flag someone down after sitting for awhile with no service. Once our server did come to the table, though, he was very nice and personable and checked on us often throughout the meal. I also knocked a star off because their food and drinks were hit or miss. My friend and I really didn't like the margaritas - they were very sweet and weak, but we did enjoy their red sangria and mojitos. Similar story with the food; we loved the Cuban Garlic Shrimp and the complimentary bread, which was warm and crispy, as well as the Tostones & Guacamole. I didn't really enjoy the other two appetizers we ordered, though, and seriously disliked the Empanadas Habaneras with ground beef - the beef tasted like sloppy joe meat. I'm sure it would've been better with chicken or the spinach and cheese option. Thankfully, everything we ordered was from the happy hour menu so each item was only $5 - a minimally threatening way to try various menu items. Overall, this is a good spot to go for cheap drinks as you're unlikely to find $5 margaritas, mojitos or sangria anywhere else in the area and most certainly not across the river in the city. I don't know that I would come back for food, though, especially given all of the other wonderful options in Hoboken and Jersey City. Glad I tested this place out, though!

My friend really enjoyed her Desayuno Havana but my order of the Desayuno Churrasco was not great. My rice and beans were very bland especially the beans . The beans were very watery. I also ordered a side of maduros which were not even cooked all the way. We shared a pitcher of red sangria which was not good at all either. The bartender was new and needed guidance on how to make the sangria. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive but I think if I were to back I would stick to non Cuban breakfast and also order the Bellini since people seemed to enjoy them.

I went here for brunch and the prices were very reasonable. However, after eating I instantly had a stomach ache and had to vomit multiple times. I would rather pay more money for better quality food!!! DEFINITELY do not recommend eating here.

The service was very good. However we were so disappointed all the 10 drinks we ordered were watery and unfortunately the food had no taste either. I think investing in a better bartender and a chef is a priority.

Very nice place to spend with friends and loved ones having drinks. Staff is very polite and co-operative. After 10pm dance floor will be ready with nice music and you can enjoy dancing. Food is good.

The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. We had 4 of the mojitos on their cocktail menu and they were all very good. For dessert, we had the cheesecake empanadas, which I didn't know where a thing, but am now glad they are. We went on a Monday at around 2:30 and almost everything was 50% off. Needless to say, the value was beyond superb.

The Cafe con leche and intoxicating sounds of Cuba make this restaurant and offerings a great brunch place! The toasty plantains and warm bread in Romeo y Julieta cigar boxes are as delightful as every menu option. ¡Muy bueno and delicioso!

Great place with good food and excellent service. The only complaint I would have was we were sitting outside and there was 3 or 4 people walking by asking for money while we were eating. Not sure if there's anything they can do about that.

Had a slowly cooked pork shank. It was served almost cold, not even cooked half way , with a disgusting sauce on top of it. I love Cuban food, but this one ... ...not my cup of tea. Sorry!
