Brunch drinks were amazing and the food was fine, nothing special. Atmosphere was amazing and perfect for brunch. However, the service was just not great and it put a damper on the experience for us.

Amazing brunch here. Steak and Eggs was delicious as well as the chicken waffle!! Highly recommend - best place I’ve ever been to in Hoboken. The aesthetic and staff were 5* what a vibe!!!

This was a very disappointing meal. We went for an early dinner to avoid the crowds, but it ended up being a popular time to eat. The noise level was uncomfortable partially due to a private event that was taking up the back bar area (of which we were sat directly next to). Then we waited forever for our food to come and it lacked taste, was not warm when it arrived, and looked unappetizing. Our meal for 4 people with a few drinks was close to 300$. The value for money wasn’t there and we’re sad to say it felt like a waste. Lastly, and now I know I’m nitpicking, but the bathrooms were gross. Toilet paper all over the floors. Felt like I was in a cheap bar that was dressed up to look hip and fancy so they can charge more. Will not be returning.

Tucked away just a short 10-minute walk from Hoboken train station, it is a total gem. Don't be fooled by its small exterior; once you step inside, you'll find loads of space to chill. We swung by on a Tuesday after work and snagged a table right away, but it wasn't long before the joint started buzzing, even though there were plenty of empty tables all night. They've got a decent drink selection, but if you've got a sweet tooth like me, you might be a tad disappointed. The buffalo chicken bites were a hit, but the fries and salad were just okay. We also ordered flatbread to share. The only bummer was the sneaky credit card fees—they tack on around 3% without telling you upfront. Not a deal-breaker, but it would've been nice to know.Overall, it is a chill spot to hang with friends in Hoboken. Just keep an eye out for those extra charges when you settle up.Parking: Busy neighborhood and hard to find paid street parking

Dear Maud is one of my favorite places in Hoboken! I have been for dinner and the service is always outstanding and the drinks are amazing. Darragh helped me plan a birthday dinner for a large group and it was so seamless. Kara provided amazing service too! She was so attentive and quick even with such a large group and never missed a beat. Everyone kept commenting how great the service, food and drinks were including the Bao buns and chicken sandwich.Everyone kept saying how the atmosphere and vibe was so perfect and Dear Maud is a true gem in Hoboken. Can’t wait to return!

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get into Dear Maud, no steps to the bathroom. Many tables are high tops or booths you have to step into. I recommend calling ahead of your reservation to be seated at an accessible table.

I don’t get the hype. All my food has mayo on it. Fries? Mayo. Shrimp bao bun? Mayo. Fried rice? Mayo. It so much mayo that everything tastes the same. The staff was nice enough and the place is clean. But why order any food here? Just get a bottle of mayo and put it on whatever and you’ll get the same experience.

Cute spot to grab a drink and have an app. Great cocktails. Love the vibe, feels like you’re at a bar in the city. Fun to meet a friend or date night!

We hosted a larger party here this past weekend, and the experience was incredible! Darragh (Manager) was such a pleasure to work with — He went above and beyond to ensure everything was setup perfectly, and was extremely accommodating - Staff and service were top notch, food and drinks were quick and delicious, and the team was constantly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. All of our guests had an amazing experience! After the event, we all mingled around the main bar — Again, great drinks and atmosphere.Highly recommend for large group events and parties, or just for dinner and drinks!!

Service was extremely bland and tasteless. Seems like the servers hate their jobs..Tables were extra sticky and two of our glasses had lipstick stains on it and were very sticky and felt oddly textured. Silverware was dirty.. food was okay. Again, nothing crazy, would I come back? I don’t think so, not worth the hype at all.
