I ordered a vegan hot dog with fries. The price on the menu said $11.50 (which is absolutely outrageous for the quality and quantity that you get; a cold, stale soy dog in a ShopRite bun and about 10 burned fries, but that's another story). When I go to pay, the guy (it says on the receipt that his name is Tahir) tells me it's $14.00 even. I ask why, if the price says $11.50 on the menu. He informs me that there is tax and a 10% "service charge." The tax I expected. But a "service charge"?!? For what, exactly? Then he gives me a receipt which shows the total to be $13.41, along with the tax and service charge. So WTF did he tell me ) $14?? Where did the $14 come from? You're telling me that it's their policy to round up by 60 cents and also to charge a BS 10% fee?!? This is straight-up fraud. It's not about the 60 cents; it's about the principle. Never coming here again.

I tried Vegan Kofteh Wrap which is soooo delicious! I could not even have a chance to take a photo of it, I ate quickly I really recommend it. I also ordered Baklava, however they did not have that time. So, I tried Oreo Cheesecake, which was okay. I think the cream cheese in the cheesecake was a looot, but Oreo was not enough. If they can balance it, it would be better! In general, my experience is good, I will definitely try their other options!

I'm not a good cook but even I can make a dish that tasted better than the Coconut Curry Bowl that I ordered. To me, this tiny little bowl tasted like reheated frozen vegetables over plain white rice. The vegetables were soggy and the dish was extremely bland. Where was the coconut? Or the curry? I also got a peach smoothie which had chunks of bitter-tasting fruit and came with a paper straw that instantly became soggy and unusable. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things since the rest of the reviews here seem very positive, but I was an rather unhappy non-vegan by the end of this meal.

This is the curry and vegetables. It's literally a can of unseasoned corn and peas and string beans over rice. I was really hoping this place was good, I'm unsure how the reviews were so fooling.The 3 little pieces of boiled potato had no flavor, there was no curry flavor whatsoever. No flavor at all. The rice couldn't have been coconut because the rice had no flavor either.This is absolutely insane, I cannot believe this was $10. This is like group home food. I had to report it immediately.I'd try somewhere else, unless you want a platter of flavorless rice with canned veggies on top.EDIT: instead of thanking people for nice reviews, the owner replies only to ones where people didn't like the food - unprofessional and weird. Even weirder she deleted it. Numerous people complain about the same thing and instead of taking it into consideration and wanting to make it better for people - she was extremely rude to me. The food is terrible, I tried other things. Unfortunately, none was good.

I went here yesterday for the first time and really enjoyed it. It is the second time I've been to a vegan restaurant. I expected them to have higher prices but everything was reasonable. And the food was made fresh and the service was great. I am not vegan, but will recommend it to anyone, vegan or not

We walked on Washington Street and we stumble on this nice vegan spot. We had falafel, vegan gyro. We were served by Tahir - a young, polite and friendly employee. The taste was amazing and the portions were reasonable at a reasonable prices. We will definitely stop by again and will recommend Happy Vegans to all my friends.
Quick order for pick up. Friendly staff and all the vegetables on the impossible burger I ordered with fries were fresh. Will have to try the kofteh wrap next.

My husband and I ate here today. The food was delicious, with a beautiful presentation. I had chickpeas over rice. I would have liked to see more vegetables (or even more vegetable sides). Service was excellent and our server gave us complimentary baklava, which was delicious! I haven't had baklava since becoming vegan because of the honey in it, but our server assured us it was vegan and the "honey" consistency was made with sugar and aloe. It's a bit tight inside, so more of a take-out place. Also, it's a shame if you came a ways as we did because they don't have bathrooms open for the public, not even customers. Not their fault; as it seems to be a theme with Hoboken restaurants. It's a shame when sloppy people ruin it for everyone. We're nice people who always clean up after ourselves. Nevertheless, we'll come back again someday. We had a nice time :)

This is by far the tastiest Vegan food I have had at a restaurant.They made us taste an item before ordering, to help us decide the order. The items were quickly served and the service was great. Vegan Kofteh Wrap and Kadaif were my favorites! Highly recommend this restaurant

Stopped by 40 min before closing and was welcomed in with great enthusiasm. The person working was very friendly, answered all our questions and made excellent recommendations. They even let us take a small sample to make up our minds.The food was great! The person I was with was hesitant because this was a new experience for them but they ended up enjoying everything at the end. We didn't even realize how long we stayed and stayed way past closing and they still were super nice and super friendly.I would highly recommend this place if you're in a neighborhood and you're looking for some really good vegan food or just food in general!!

Amazing hidden gem in Hoboken - even my omnivore boyfriend and coworkers loved it. Everyone agreed: "We can't believe this is vegan " Get the roller borek, zucchini fritters, cheesecake and kofta wrap. All are flavorful.
