I threw my 25th birthday party at Hudson Table. We had a private cooking class and made Korean BBQ. Everyone really enjoyed the experience and the whole event went smoothly. The setup and cleanup by the staff was really great, and I would love to have another event here!

From cooking classes to chefs competitions, the yearly thanksgiving meal kits and more, Hudson Table continues to impress me over the years. The spaces inside are gorgeous, lots of natural light which has been the perfect backdrop for the many parties I’ve attended here. The chefs all showcase themselves so well and I appreciate how hands on the cooking classes are for any level home cook. Still dreaming about a phenomenal wine dinner I had here a few years ago and still use my recipe packet from a Salvadoran tapas class whenever I’m craving a good papusa. I highly recommend this space for any occasion. Can’t wait to enjoy rooftop movie nights when the weather warms up!!

Chef Sam led the charge with her exceptional skills, crafting an amazing menu that left everyone truly raving. Her knowledge and expertise truly elevated the dining experience. The Chef’s team were equally skilled, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Host Kasy went above and beyond to cater to our every need, making us feel right at home. A huge shoutout to our event coordinator, Amanda DeVincentis, who orchestrated everything swiftly and expertly. Thanks to her, the entire party was a resounding success. We celebrated my daughter’s bridal shower at Hudson Table yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The food was plentiful and outstanding! Our guests are raving about the food and now plan to return for cooking classes. It was a pleasure to work with Amanda who coordinated the event, and on the day of the shower, the staff were very helpful in setting up and assisting throughout the afternoon. I am not typically one to send in reviews but I felt this team was so fantastic. Corey and team kept us all motivated and having fun as we learned and enjoying our meal. Extremely disappointed. I thought it would be a special night reserving a “table” with Hudson Table for Vday. To our surprise, when we arrived the event was at a coffee shop and the table we reserved was not actually a table at all, but a bar seat on a wood plank against a cold window squeezed btwn two other couples. Not exactly the romantic ambience we were looking for. When we decided to leave and ask for a refund- the condescending supervisor said “sorry but no refunds” not even understanding of our disappointment… I explained that we were never told we would be sitting at a bar seat, staring at homeless folks..This was absolutely not my idea of a special evening. They packaged up some food (one roll, one small tart, some heavy pasta, cold meat and overly dressed salad) and sent us on our way. Never again. I was really looking forward to this evening and it was handled so poorly. Very unprofessional.

This was my second class at Hudson Table and it was a stark contrast to the first. The space was beautiful and the menu items were quite good. However, I felt the ratio of chef-instructors to participants (3 chefs, 16 participants) was not conducive to actually learning cooking skills. It was almost assumed people had basic knowledge of knifework etc. when in reality this was not the case.I also found the jokey manner this particular group of chefs used with people to be almost condescending and not particularly pleasant. I was really disappointed in the experience as was my fiance who had purchased as an anniversary gift for the two of us.

I hosted a birthday celebration for my wife at Hudson Table in Hoboken on Saturday night. I cannot overstate how much fun my wife, friends and I had. The process started with Amanda, who helped plan everything. She was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly responsive. There wasn't a question I asked that was too insignificant for a quick response. The venue itself was great. The private room was arranged perfectly with lots of space for sixteen amateur cooks to prepare a meal and a table set for a feast at the end. Importantly, the team that guided us through the night could not have been more friendly and helpful. Jordan, the chef, and his assistants Shannon and Gian, were somehow able to guide a fairly "distracted" group of partiers through birthday chaos to a meal that was fresh, hot and delicious. I recommend Hudson Table unreservedly!
