The food was extremely delicious and the people here were very kind and generous. I ordered the chicken Kali mirch and garlic naan. To my surprise while waiting I was given chips with 3 dipping sauces and at the end of my meal 2 gulab jamun for dessert at no extra charge.

The restaurant manager does not cater to customer experience. Even after throughly expressing the experience to the manager, he just behaves as if he doesn’t care. It’s just sad that an Indian restaurants after attaining a decent word of mouth behaves in such a manner.I am not writing it to satisfy my ego but after experiencing this a couple of times ,I have given a thought before writing the review..

Best Indian food in Hoboken hands down! Indian is one of my favorites and this place blew me away! Their flavors are incredible, the staff were very friendly, and it felt like I was having dinner at a friend’s place for a home cooked meal!

I was super looking forward to try this restaurant as all the reviews were great and the food looked amazing. Unfortunately I had a really bad experience concerning food safety and for me that’s number one. We ordered through uber eats, food smelt amazing and got here still piping hot. The samosas were amazing, the mango lassis were really good too, but unfortunately we found a piece of plastic wrap in one of the lassis. The worst was yet to come when we also found quite a big piece of steel wool in the biryani. Basically once we found that, we were unable to continue with our meal because we didn’t feel confident the food was safe to eat. A really big shame because everything we had up to that point was super tasty. :(

After getting ripped off at little India in jersey city, I was a little hesitant to try another India restaurant with almost perfect reviews. lol BUT this place really is as great as what the reviews say! I love the atmosphere, the food is tasty and super generous portions, and the staff was friendly. Plus, they gave a free appetizer with 3 delicious sauces and gulag jamun for dessert!! We would definitely want to visit again.

I enjoy the food and ambience at karma cafe. The tandoori pomfret is the best and comes with rice and daal making it a full meal. The paneer makhani was ok ok. W plus be tastier if the paneer was not chewy. But yet good. They should take the battered fish off their menu- fish is tasty when it has a bite inside of batter- this fish is a cheaper variety of tilapia that doesn’t have any bite and no taste.I’ll say that pomfret is my choice at this restaurant.
This place said they open at 11 am on google and they had even put the open sign on their door but when we tried to go in at 11 am they said they would open at 12 after cleaning the floors. Was just ridiculous!

Some of the sauces and food didn't seem too fresh even though we went earlier in the day. Food seemed kind of bland for Indian food, lacked salt and flavor. Daal was very water and flavorless.
