We ordered a Funghi pizza for pickup through Slice. The pizza was ready when we got there and the service was great and very efficient. The pizza itself was pretty good, but it's a thin pizza so it was a bit soggy when were eating it. Otherwise, good flavor and great service!

Artisanal Neapolitan Pizza, this is not your run of the mill Jersey pizza spot. If you're looking for something a little fancier for takeout, this is a great spot. They recently brought their prices down which was my only complaint about the place when I first ordered from there! Hoping that the price change allows more people to experience this little gem! I like to order 2 different pies (and save some for the next day) as they have so many great options! The Diavola Pizza is my favorite on the menu!

Merita! A Classic italian pizza, like the one you can find in the majority of pizzeria. More crispy and less bubbly crust than a napolitan style ?

Was really hoping to like this place but it was a sloppy wet mess with a ring around it with a few veggies floating around for $23... The pizza needs to be cooked longer.. i shouldn't have to eat my pizza with a spoon.

Ordered night before. Delivered before they even opened the next day. Was cold and stale like it was premade. Not sure if it would've been good if it was fresh and hot. But it was Not Good. at. All. Save your money even if they have a coupon.

I expected Verizza to mirror Razza's pizza as they're similar in price and size but my expectations were clearly too high. Each pizza is pretty thin and only 13" each. The sauce was a little sweeter than I would prefer and at $17-22 prices per pie, I expected slightly higher quality ingredients. Out of the 4 pizzas I tried (mortazza, diavola, Quattro formaggi, salentina), the Mortazza and Diavola were my preferences. The white pie lacked flavor and could've been better if there was a hot honey sauce or at least red pepper flakes.

We usually love a thin crust pizza but this was an overly sauced mess. For a vegetarian pie there were barely any veggies on it. We each picked at a slice then tossed out the pie. Expected better from a $23 pie. On a positive note the guys in the shop were friendly and nice.

First off, it was so thin and probably one of the thinnest slice I have ever had. Secondly, I feel bad saying it but the sauce didn't have any taste to it and the crust seemed stale. On first glance it looked like the crust would have that chewiness that I know and love but it wasn't the case. I did like the thin crust since it reminds me of Rubirosa but this was not up to that level. The sauce also wasn't sweet at all and didn't have any spunk or taste whatsoever. This is a fancy place and you can tell they have passion for what they do. I appreciate it but this place wasn't my favorite. I wish them the best.

I had been anticipating a visit to Verizza for months and finally made the trip downtown for Friday night pizza. I called in my order and essentially got to select my pickup time.We ordered 2 pies between the two of us: the Salentina and the Tartufata. Unfortunately I had to wait for another 10 minutes upon pickup, but at least I knew the pies were fresh. The physical space is very nice albeit not in a heavily trafficked area. It’s bright, open, and very clean. And i always love being able to see my food being made, so having a direct sight line to the oven and prep station was a bonus point for me.The Salentina had stracciatella (which is similar to burrata), Ndjua (spicy sausage), pecorino Romano, and fresh basil. The stracciatella made the pizza a bit heavy in the middle and therefore messy. I wish there had been more of the sausage, but the fresh basil made up for those shortcomings. The Tartufata had potatoes, black truffle, mozz, and speck aka bacon. We ordered this because of how different it was. The bacony bites were the best and the truffle was not overwhelming. Both pies were light, airy, and tasty. We had put the pizza stone in the oven before picking up with the thought that the pizzas may lose their crisp on the drive home. A quick reheat maintained the necessary crunch on the crust.I will say the prices are a bit rich for my blood. But in a city with ample pizza selections, Verizza offers a unique twist on Neapolitan pizza. If you’re looking to splurge for a night, consider Verizza! Hope they stick around in Hoboken and work out the kinks.

Friendly service, good quality pizza. Very easy to deal with. Unlike some of the other pizza stores in Hoboken they don't play games (like adding extra dollars to your credit card receipt after you've signed it). I recommend these guys, and support local businesses.

I was really excited to try this place, and I’m so glad I did! I went with the Parmense pizza and my roommate went with the mushroom one. After ordering in person we didn’t wait for long before getting our pizzas to go. The pizza itself was great, although a little crispier crust than I typically like. We also both got the tiramisu for dessert which was tasty but I’d probably try another dessert next time.

This pizza place is super cute! I got the "pepperoni" pizza it's not called that but it was made so quickly and the crust was perfectly fluffy. Everyone was very nice and it was quick service there is a coal oven where the pizza is cooked. Definitely give this place a shot! I would give this 4.5 stars if it were an option. It's just a little pricy. Yelp elite event *enjoy*

Amazing pizza --- def try out if you are in the area The pizzas were done in less than 5 minutes and melted in the mouth.. friendly staff.. tried the margarita and vegetariano Will be visiting again to try more items The Daviano(pepperoni equivalent ) looked great A bit on the pricier side but really fresh /melting pizza

The service here was exceptional! I came for the Yelp Elite event. There was a mixup with my order and the manager immediately apologized and comp'd me a new pizza. I still paid because she was so nice there was no way I could let her comp me. The pizzas were great too. The best one was the QUATTRO FORMAGGI. I also had the SALENTINA which was pretty good except I would just add extra cheese next time. But come early if you have to be somewhere at a particular time because parking is terrible, per usual in Hoboken.
