I’m not from Hope. I was passing through to visit a client. The owner was very nice. They had a nice liquor selection for a small town store. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t intend on buying anything but he had a rum that’s not easy to find. Reasonable prices too!
We had to pull over for a pit stop and stopped in this place. It's in the middle of nowhere, very small town. The food was really good! We ordered the breakfast platter and pancake stack. I personally don't like home fries but I kept eating it. If it's cooked in grease, I don't want to know. The pancakes were also huge and fluffy.

I used to lifeguard at Land of Make Believe when I was in high school and college. This was my go to breakfast sandwich spot. Very good bagels and the coffee was good too. It's been a few years though, I'm definitely going to have to go back soon
