Best Chinese food hands down in Monmouth county. Been coming here for years - the employees are so amazing- sweet, patient, friendly - and talented. Don bother with ANY other Chinese food in Howell. I have tried them all-and nothing on them-

I hate to do this but I feel like I must, the food was honestly just not good. Tasted old, dry and sour when it shouldn’t. Maybe it was a bad night but I certainly won’t be going back.

China1, in the Regal Plaza strip northbound route 9 in Howell. There is not a separate entrance for Regal Plaza, rather, you must be a local that knows you must use the entrance for the preceding Dollar General store in order to gain access to the Regal Plaza parking lot. There is no exit, either, you must use the White Castle exit, so be careful as the drive-thru dumps right across the exit lane from the strip mall.China1 however offers the typical expansive Chinese food menu, ready in minutes, and delicious. They do seem to run out of common ingredients however, such as brown rice.

China 1 is the only Chinese restaurant I will order from, their food is top quality! I love the kung po chicken and the chicken and broccoli plus the servings are very large!!!

The food is absolutely delicious, well-priced and the staff are wonderfully polite. My only concern is that the red eared slider turtle housed here seems to have an eye infection, and I hope the poor little guy gets treatment soon.

Asked if they could NOT cook my boneless ribs too hard. They didn't know what to do because the ribs were old anyway. And as you guessed, THEY WERE HARD. Not worth the money, I should have got pizza instead.

If I could give this place a negative 5 I would. I ordered chicken chop suey with brown rice. Well the chicken was raw. The veggies raw. The sauce watered down. The rice and noodles were old. My mother said it is the worst Chinese food she has ever had. Now I'm listening to she hopes she doesn't get sick from the food. I hope that won't be the case as she is elderly.
