Picked up an order tonight and I must say that everything was delicious. Egg drop and beef noodle soup both tasty and hot. Roast pork, beef lo mein, chinese vegetables and seafood specialty dish were all fresh. Each dish had their own unique taste. Very happily surprised and will definitely order again. Nice start to New Year. Wont be traveling far for great food :)

Was loving this place for a while! We used to go to China Moon but the quality of their food was became inconsistent.. Both there boneless ribs & the General Tso’s chicken used to be fresh and delicious but most times tough and dry. Like it was old leftover meat reheated. So we switched to Howell Kitchen and for a long while was delicious! Super fresh and good! The people who work there are very nice and it’s very clean HOWEVER I have noticed the last few times we ordered the General Tso’s chicken was not good at all! Very dried out, chewy and my kids were spitting it out because they could not chew it.. wondering if this is something many Chinese restaurants do? Saving old leftover meat & reheating. We are a family of 6 so we spend a lot of money when we order like $60-$70 dollars for Chinese. I’m thinking we will try some place else if it happens again? Disappointing because I really like the people who work there and there other dishes are delicious but PLEASE make your boneless ribs and General Tso’s chicken fresh.

The best Chinese food in Freehold/Jackson/Howell area. The staff is so nice and very accommodating. My husband is very picky and so we tried many others. He insists on using Howell Kitchen solely. We recommend highly.

Got some new items. The egg drop soup was really good, probably the only soup I really like there. Also got boneless spareribs and vegetable lo mein which was really good. Tried the steamed dumplings which i wasn't really fond of. Very doughy and the pork wasn't my favorite. I def wouldn't get that again. The works inside are really nice every time.
Very good Chinese food. Food is actually cooked. Chicken tastes like chicken which is something not commonly found in restaurants in nj. Would recommend.

This place is such a solid Chinese restaurant! They recently remodeled so the inside is very clean. The staff is always very friendly and polite and their food is fantastic! We had the best eggplant with garlic sauce from here, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Wow. If you need a Chinese spot this is it. Been in howell for 4 years mad we didn’t try this before. Definitely our new spot. Everything was great. Nothing over done and great portions.

The only place that tastes somewhat close to a place I used to go too . Reminds me of home . I always get the boneless spare rib combination platters and they do a great job . The rice could use a little bit more seasoning or zing but otherwise it's good. I wish they did delivery during the day and we're open on Mondays but I definitely recommend it if you haven't tried ?
