Nice little corner spot. Wanted to give it a five but the fried chicken wasn’t cooked properly. Chicken tasted like it was prepped that morning and barely seasoned. Tasted raw. Didn’t have the heart to say anything because they were so nice. I took it home and end up fixing it for a better eating enjoyment
The other day I had Clayton’s Pots for the first time. I had got their Oxtail Dinner w/ Rice and Peas, A side of Mac n Cheese, and their Banana Pudding. The Oxtails were decent in flavor, pretty middling to be honest. The Mac n Cheese had some kind of spices in them, did not like the Mac at all. This restaurant was kind enough to provide a meal for the families of the Ronald McDonald House in Philly and when I tell you this is the best meal I have had in awhile, I am not exaggerating. The jerk chicken, wings, yams and oxtail were excellent. Cannot thank them enough for their delicious food and generosity.
