Walked in not realizing that there was no indoor seating. This was not an issue once we tasted the food however. It was delicious and I can confidently say the best barbecue that I have had while living in New Jersey. As an avid enjoyer of St Louis and memphis-style barbecue I think the scratch the itch. It appears that they do outdoor seating during warmer weather but there really isn't much to speak of inside. Prices for fair and I haven't found food like this anywhere else. Mexican corn was a unique treat.Vegetarian options: There are non meat options in their excellent sides menu, including the Mexican Street corn, mac and cheese, baked beans, macaroni and potato salad.

Been coming here since they opened the portions have gotten smaller and the food a little skimpy on the quality but over all it’s still
They have bad customer service. I called so many times to adjust my order and nobody answered the phone. It’s crazy because I wanted to ask a question and spent over $100 on my food. Give back to the community by hiring someone to answer your phone. It’s crazy because on their website it shows a lot of family workers but nobody is there to answer the phone.

You really have to be petty to take out a $1 off someone’s tip getting cabbage delivered to you . Not your drivers fault ??♂️??♂️ you where going to cancel but didn’t . Was going to order dinner today for my family here which would of made up way more than the $1 but I’ll go elsewhere

I ordered the pulled pork fries and the pineapple green tea. The food was fresh and delicious, but it was so good I wish they gave larger portions. The drink was refreshing, not overly sweetened. I will definitely like to go back and try more on the menu.

I wish I can give no stars food was HORRIBLE. My job placed a big order last night for 9 of us. Bill was about $300.00 and I don't even know where to beginning, it was not worth that at all. So disappointed. My jerk chicken platter was not giving any jerk more like BBQ and my chicken was RAW, the bone was bloody and the honestly it didnt look like chicken it was so big I thought it was some exotic meat. I could not eat it due to fear of getting salmonella. The candied yams where straight from the can with no taste. The blueberry corn muffin was dry with ONE BLUEBERRY at the side. The Mexican street corn looked and tasted like it was from the streets foreal!!! Everything went in the garbage. This was by far the worst meal I have ever had from a suppose to be Soul food Restaurant. You guys need to really get better cooks cause this isn't it at all. I would really like to get my money back.

I ordered the BOGO jerk chicken + two sides on Uber eats. The food was ok though the portions are small for the price - My order also only came with 2/4 of the sides, when I called I was told they were going to send somebody out to bring the missing sides but nobody ever showed up which is extremely annoying
