Went here with a group of 5 for the first time as we were craving Gujarati/kathiyawadi food and it did not disappoint. The service is excellent and the food tastes amazing.They offer three types of unlimited thalis - Gujarati, kathiyawadi and Punjabi. Have the Gujrati of you are craving your dishes to be a little on the sweet side like me and the kathiyawadi if not. I would not suggest the Punjabi thali as this is a Gujrati place and that is their forte.Vegetarian options: This is a fully vegetarian restaurant.Parking: This is in a strip mall with a free parking lotKid-friendliness: Indian restaurants are always kid friendly.

Darshan and Nidhi run hell of a show at Atithya Khatiyawadi. Them and all other employees are the friendliest people you will meet on planet Earth. All types of Indian food is delicious. Vada Pav is so far the best on what so called American Soil. I can't wait to try each and every item here. I told owner how bad of a experience I had at Khatiyawadi Kitchen at Sayreville. The owner was rude and nasty where I requested him to take his bread and give me back soft bread and he refused and no eye contact to customers. They used to be great once upon a time now it's shit their food. Way too much EGO problem like Ravan ni lanka dhoobi jaase ek divas. Anyways back to Atithya pizza maker is so cool and makes perfect crust pizzas. I had whole pie which is cheaper than buying a slice. I spoke to Darshan and Nidhi. I spoke to Darshan second time when I had Black Pav Bhaji. They made sure if everything was perfectly done. 100 thumbs up and 100***** instead of 5****. You will love Atithya Khatiyawadi anything you try here. If you don't go here then you are missing the best restaurant. Hats off to Nidhi and Darshan once again see you soon for Vada Pav. The food is really good with not too much spice or sweet and has an authentic Kathiyavadi taste. Their service is fast. They have a wide variety of foods to try. They have a very big space where you can also plan small events like birthday or anniversary celebrations for upto 80 people.Parking: Approximately 3-5 cars can park at the same time.Kid-friendliness: They also have highchairs for kids.

One of the best places to try Kathiawadi in NJ. Kathiawadi thali including Rotlo, Lasaniya bateka, Bengan Bhadthu with smoky flavor, samosa, ladu with kadhi and Khichadi was a perfect meal after a long day! Server / owner were very courteous and attentive.

Authentic Gujarati food with the kindest service I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant. Employees always checked in on us, and never overwhelmed us. Food was perfectly spicy (we ordered two thalis which included unlimited refills). The masala chai was perfectly spiced with ginger and the buttermilk cut the food spice perfectly.
