I want to start off by saying their food was pretty dang good, but their service was god awful. Me and my girlfriend came in to eat, and when I paid for the food on the kiosk, the machine was out of paper to print the receipt; that’s not a problem. Except it seems like the workers had never encountered that before and didn’t know what to do, they tried to make me pay again but I explained that my card went through, it just didn’t print. I thought that was all settled, so we went to sit down and wait for our food. In the meantime, another worker asked us if we wanted anything to drink. I politely declined, but my girlfriend wanted a water. Instead they offered Horchata because I guess they don’t have water here, but she was fine that. Mind you, the way he worded this it seemed as though he was giving it to us free of charge due to the inconvenience. Then when we sat down and got our food, 2 Horchatas came out. I didn’t want one nor did I order one, but since I was under the assumption it was free I didn’t say anything. Then when we tried to leave, the worker behind the counter yelled something and I had to go back and pay for the drinks. Annoying, but not a problem, I guess it was just a miscommunication (even though I didn’t order a drink for myself to begin with). Except when I went to pay, the screen said “$42” and the worker AGAIN tried to make me pay for the entire meal plus the drinks that we didn’t even want. I did pay because there was a possibility the worker was right and my card didn’t go through, plus there was another couple waiting in line behind me and he called me over and had me cut them to pay so I felt bad trying to cover this dispute when they were waiting to order. But before leaving I checked my bank app in the car, and wouldn’t you know it, the order went through the first time! So I went back inside, and they refunded my first order, but I still had to pay for the second one which included the 2 “complimentary” drinks. At the end of the day, if you order delivery or take out you’re probably fine because their food was quite good, but if you want even mediocre service then don’t consider dining in hereEdit: They ended up giving a refund to the second order as well after placing this review. It was unasked for and unexpected but appreciated. It still wasn’t the best experience but the fact that they want to correct their mistakes is admirable so I increased my ratingEdit 2: I thought I got a refund, because they sent me a receipt saying so, but upon further investigation it’s been 2 days and it still hasn’t gone through. This is strange because I didn’t even ask for a refund to begin with, so for them to do what I presume is faking one is beyond me. It could be a misunderstanding on my end, and if it is I’ll change this review once more without this edit, but as of now I’m bringing my rating back down to 1 star because the first refund they gave me at least showed up as pending within the same day, and this second one still doesn’t even have a trace of showing up in my bank account so I have reason to believe I’m not getting it back. I also realized that they “refunded” the order total not including the tip, so even though their service was well below par they still kept the $6.40 tip. I don’t know how refunding with tips works, maybe it’s not possible, but I just figured I’d mention this just so anyone who reads this review has the full story. So even though I didn’t ask for nor expect a full refund, I am disappointed that they presumably would act as though they are giving me one only to keep my money.

Authentic Mexican food cooked with perfection! I did not expect the food to be this good. My order of Camarones a la diabla was fresh, and strikingly spicy. Highly recommend if you are close to the outlet mall.

Their food is tasty but they were very unprofessional, the lady hung up on me when I explained that I was charged twice. Because their delivery service told me to cancel and reorder to get a driver available as first time there was an issue. I called her to explain and she said no problem she wouldn't charge again, then when I explained the first order didn't cancel, she said it wasn't her problem and that she made the food already for the first order that was the same as the second. So she totally ignored what I had explained to her over the phone the first time and the second time she said it was not her problem rudely hung up on me. So I was charged closed to $100 for one order, so $ 48 dollars twice. If it weren't for my pleading the delivery service to see I was charged twice for the same food that she made only once. I would have been shortchanged. And also on a second order I was charged additional for mixed chicken and steak, in my meal, which I only got chicken. And they no longer have someone to call to resolve the issue.

Ordered this on door dash and I was amazed that EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. The rice was so flavorful and had potatos and carrots in it cooked perfectly. And the tacos were the best we’ve had, along with the chips and salsa, all made in house. So glad we found this

Mexican food. Plentiful portions. Fair prices. Menu on chalkboard. It was crowded. I was the only non-Latin person there for lunch but was able to indicate to the friendly cashier that I wanted number 23: quesadillas mixed (chicken, shrimp, and steak). You sit down to wait for your meal. The restaurant was decorated with a Mexican flag, and additional items. Music was playinginthebackground. "No cerveza"- "No beer" signs are posted on the door and inside. The platter came with the grilled marinated chicken strips, beef, and shrimp. There were also black beans, flavored rice, warm soft corn taco wraps, guacamole and cream sauce. Everything was DELICIOUS ?. I needed a container to take home almost half of the meal. You pay AFTER you eat. Credit cards and cash are accepted.

Food is delicious. The restaurant is a family run casual restaurant with nice staff. The food is authentically Mexican. Its hard to find real good Mexican food unless you go to Mexico. The inside is not fancy at all, but the food is out of this world. I've visited another restaurant in Jackson with beautiful interior and there food was not good at all. You can tell they use cheap ingredients. But Mi Sazon doesn't. their corn tortillas taste good and all the food actually is tastier. I speak little Spanish but their menu was pretty easy to understand. Highly recommend this place.
