Offensively Bad Used to be good. Definitely not anymore. Went Saturday night. Empty. I now know why. Walk up order. Asks if you want to tip even though you are ordering at a counter. I tip. Like an idiot. Girl brings cold burrito and salad doused in congealed "dressing " to our table. Says. "There's forks up at the front if you want them" so my wife goes up for forks. Basically following server. No forks. Tables all around us dirty. Food was below average. Cold slapped together. Go to bubbakoos

Such a cute location! Knowing that this place is a chain, I was expecting run of the mill Mexican, but was pleasantly surprised. The options were much more than I was expecting and the food was very fresh. The portions were huge as well! The atmosphere was also adorable! Definitely worth a visit.

Surf Taco use to be a novelty when the only location was in Point Pleasant, NJ. But, now with close to a dozen locations, I find the food to be just ok. However, it is satisfying and the ingredients are always fresh. We recently stopped at this Jackson location, ironically, after a Yelp Event. We ordered a Burrito and a Bowl. The ingredients were plentiful, fresh, and offered up a good lunch. This location is larger than some of the others and has a cool vibe with a nice size bar. It seems like a great place to hang out and grab a few drinks with friends for happy hour.

I like their shrimp tacos. I ordered a pick up to go. Kinda pricey for what it was. They forgot the drink. Went back, their fountain drinks all ran out. Had to wait. Got a drink. It was flat. Blah blah blah, got my food and drink. Everyone who worked there was pleasant. Just wish my pickup was overall quicker and smoother.

This will be my last visit to this location. Dirty tables, dirty floors, the place was a mess. Extremely expensive for small portions (I get inflation, but I just can't justify spending my money on such simple small portions). I think some major changes need to be made.
Interesting to see so many negative reviews as of late. But I was there with a few friends recently and had a great time! The food was great and there was no problems whatsoever. Highly enjoyed our time there and will be back!

This place when it opened was awesome. Cool vibe, excellent food, well displayed and diverse craft beer menu.We went there a few days ago and the menu was changed. Some of the usual menu items were gone, prices increased, and there are more upcharges for things.I don't know what happened recently but it was s step backwards

No matter what Surf Taco I go to, there are always staff that do not have good customer service. I was disappointed that the beef tacos were not hard shell, that at least gives the tasteless beef some flavor. As always people sitting near the bar get the best service. OH and I am sharing my table with the last persons leftovers. The staff could have easily taken it away when she served me my food, but instead left it with me.

Love Surf Taco, first time at the Jackson location, will not go back. Food was okay, but the place was filthy, tables not cleaned, salsa bar was a mess. Covid is still around, they should be cleaning and sanitizing the public areas and they're not.
