Alex's Italian Restaurant & Brick Oven Pizza was really good and quite affordable. It has a great vibe to it. Every thing I've tried thus far has been great. Crew is incredibly pleasant and definitely will help you with anything. Overall I would go to this place again and again.

Do not eat here. They temp you with a generous groupon, then inflate the prices on the entrees, and they offer water without warning that it's not free..food is mediocre at best. Could have had a great meal anywhere else for the same price and less frustration.

This was my first experience ordering from Alex's Restaurant. I was looking for an affordable nearby Italian restaurant to order from and after reading the reviews I chose Alex's. You won't be disappointed. My phone call to place my order from start to receiving my order was outstanding. Alex gave recommendations and assured me that my food would arrive at my hotel on time and would be completely satisfied. Alex went above and beyond with his service. This was for a 50th birthday celebration. He even added a candle to complete the dessert order. The delivery was exceptional. The delivery driver Alex was very professional and accommodating. The food was incredible. Portions were more than enough. I ordered the baked ziti, eggplant parmesan, salads, garlic bread, tiramisu and cheese pizza. We still had leftovers for the next day. Alex also offered for us to come to restaurant if we had no other plans for the weekend. Like stated before, you will not be disappointed. Exceptional service. Thank you Alex. Wish I could rate my experience above the 5 stars it deserves. With gratitude, Colleen.

Found this place via Groupon and decided to give it a try as I'm new to the area and haven't tried many local places. Upon arrival, my guest and I were seated promptly and given our menus. They have a pretty decent dinner selection; appetizers, pasta, fish, chicken, seafood, etc. We opted to skip an appetizer and just order two entrees; the Pollo Montese and the Gnocchi with Salmon. The gnocchi came with asparagus and shallots in a vodka sauce and was a generous portion and my partner said it was decent. My meal was a piece of grilled chicken on top of mostly onions, some zucchini, and carrots with a balsamic glaze. The giant pieces of onion were a bit of a turn-off, never had an entire onion cut into chucks as a "vegetable side" but the glaze was good. We were asked what we wanted to drink and were given bottled water which was fine. The Groupon was for a credit of $40 towards the price of the meal. The prices on their website aren't the prices they charge at the restaurant. Our meals should have been around $50, maybe $55 including the bottled water which we were never told they nor the bread we didn't ask for wasn't free; nonetheless when we received the check our balance due was $22, not $10 or $15. Not sure how 2 entrees at $26 and $23 and 2 bottles of water came to $62.00 but I was tired and $22 wasn't that much. Also the owner Alex was very kind throughout the entire experience and we felt bad as we knew things must not have been easy during the lockdown. However, his politeness is extremely phony because we left a $10 tip in cash and when I got home and checked the notification from my bank, I was charged $29. Meaning after he charged the $22, he went back and added a tip to the card, which I marked as $0 the receipt as we left cash. The bill was inflated, the charge to my card was inflated and the owner should be ashamed of himself. Skip this place as it the food isn't worth those prices, you can take the path to NYC and visit little Italy and pain the same price for better food and not worry about shady practices.

We ordered fried calamari (satisfying), pizza (thick pizza, juicy tomatoes, lots of garlic and bacon - pretty tasty), and a Caesar salad (fresh/standard but they could present better value).

Chicken wings were fatty and unevenly tossed. Penne vodka was edible but a bit bland, pizza crust was super stale. Overall would not recommend.

Ordered takeouts. Good made-to-order pizza! Waiting time was quite long tho as it was freshly made. The medium size is sufficient for a personal meal. The Alex pizza has everything I liked - peppers, sausage, pepperoni. Slices were thick.

Wanted to love this place and give a good review. To start with positives, the penne vodka was very good. I make my own with a family recipe and this sauce is honestly one of the best I've tasted. The chicken parm is good too but not in accordance with the price. We went there for linguini with clam sauce and we were told that he couldn't make it because the clams were rotten in the back. The owner asked if we wanted water and came out with 3 water bottles that were luke warm, come to find he charged us $4 per bottle. Didn't clear off the table and every simple meal ordered came with an additional cost. They didn't clear off the table and basically handed us our meals when we got them. The check took 40 minutes to come despite our subtle reminders. The bathroom was also disgusting and there was p*** on the rim of the toilet. I understand it's a glorified pizza joint and sometimes those can be the best but at this pricing point I expect free iced water, good service and no sneaky thrown in costs. I don't like the way the owner does business despite his nice demeanor. Hopefully this helps inform your dinner decision.

I tried this place for the first time the other day and so far, I am a fan. We ordered the primavera pasta and garlic bread. The pasta was pretty simple yet delicious. We also ordered the tiramisu which was pretty good, but I've had better elsewhere (I am a tiramisu snob, so hard to win me on that one ). I love that they have a vegetarian section on their menu. Looking forward to trying more from this place.

The owner is the beat thing everrrrr! Food never fails. My 9 and 11 year old doesn't want anything Italian besides Alex's. I order from here all the time.MaggieAlex even came and brought my order. The food is so fresh and tasty. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago so we are big on taste and they are always on point!

My boyfriend and I ordered from Alex's a couple days ago and I must say their customer service was amazing. We ordered a couple of entrees through Seamless to find an order incorrect and proceeded to call the restaurant. Not only were they able to delivery the correct item, but the owner was nice enough to deliver it himself and apologized! The food was fresh and delicious. Thank you! Will definitely order again.

Customer service was very nasty. My wife ordered food and we asked for a sandwich to be made with garlic bread they ended up charging us for extra garlic bread and then a can of coke was busted when driver came to deliver when we open the bag there was coke soda all over the food. When I called to let them know they said there will be nothing they can do for the coke Insinuating that we were lying.

This is how I received my delivery. They didn't even try to keep the food level. They bag was stand on the side, and the sauce was everywhere but where they should be. If you want to spent $30 and get the food you don't even want to look at, this is it

We came here on a Friday evening around 7pm. We were seated immediately by Alex (who is awesome!!!). We were told the specials of the day and was given some bread with butter. The bread was AMAZING!!! We ordered the mussels and calamari and they were both perfect options! I really can't believe how good it was. It made me excited to order entrees. I ordered the Zuppa de Mare and my friend ordered the shrimp scampi and we are new customers. The food is so fresh, juicy and just simply the best Italian food I had. We love this place and will be back!!!!!!!!!!!!
