The most welcoming and friendly atmosphere! I got the double scoop, which comes with two flavors. Totally worth the price, as the flavors are quite sweet so its very satisfying. I tried Thai Tea, OG Baonana, Cookies and Cream, and French Toast. All the flavors were so delicious, but Thai Tea was my favorite because it wasn’t too sweet. They even have board games! My bf and I played Connect 4, and I got a free scoop after I won :)

Baonanas changed my mind about banana pudding! I didn’t understand what could be so special about it.I’ve tried almost all the flavors and my top 3 favorites are the OG, buko pandan, and French Toast. I like topping it with Nilla wafers for extra crunch. I hate to admit that I can eat a whole pint in one sitting. It’s not too sweet at all.I also tried their pan de bao sliders. I tried both the chicken truffle one and the spam & kimchi one. I liked both but favored the latter.I tried their calamansi fizzie and the watermelon calamansi mint fizzie. Both were really good too.On top of that, customer service is on point! Shout out to Lloyd and Ju. (And free street parking!!)Would recommend to all my friends and can’t wait to take my brother here!

As Jersey City residents, we knew we had to have one of our favorite businesses at our wedding as a dessert surprise for our guests! We hired Baonanas as an added sweet treat for our wedding and it was a huge hit! They came in their adorable Baomobile, set up outside at our venue, and served 6 flavors of their delicious pudding to our guests. There was consistently a line and our guests kept coming back to try more flavors. It was the perfect unique option to serve our guests that wasn’t too heavy after a night of eating and drinking. With a range of flavors (including vegan and gluten free) there was something for everyone to enjoy!Prior to our wedding, the team did a great job at communicating with us and we even got to schedule a tasting ahead of our big day where we got to sample numerous flavors in order to choose the pudding we would serve our guests. We got the choice of a ton of flavors and landed on some classics and some fun seasonal fall flavors that were perfect for our October celebration.The team was always polite, always responsive, and extremely easy to work with. The two Service Bears serving at our wedding always had a smile on their face and even saved some for us to take home at the end of the night. We highly recommend Baonanas and the Baomobile if you’re looking for a creative and tasty add on to your wedding or event!

Lloyd is literally the sweetest guy and the cantaloupe juice with condensed milk is to die for. I love it here and would come back again all the time (if only it was closer to my house but whenever I'm in Jersey city I'll be here!). Excited for them to branch out to other places around jersey :)

A banana pudding dessert shop is such a good idea! The texture and flavors were so on point, and the banana bear design is so cute! We almost didn't get to try this place, but I'm so glad things worked out! I would come by often if I lived in this area.

Soooo i first had baonanas at my sister's place and it was amazing ! Different flavored banana puddings ! What a brilliant idea?! Came here for the first time one wkend and the staff was so friendly! They allowed me to have free tastings to decide what flavors i wanted. They had all different sizes of containers too. I got 3 containers with 2 flavors in each. We finished it in like 3 days lmao im already craving some more and its only been a wk!

I had a random urge for banana pudding and fell upon this spot. We ordered the OG and the Ube flavor (on seamless). The OG is pretty solid with a good ratio of banana to wafer. I really enjoyed it. The Ube flavor was good but I took a star off because there were barely any wafer or banana chunks in the one I got. I'll definitely be interested in trying their other flavors

This place is an absolute delight!!!What could be better than coming in on a nice day for some delicious pudding, being greeted with the kindest people and warm smiles, and getting to unwind in the “Baoyard” outdoor space with the most serene scene with turf and couches…This place has the most zen atmosphere around and is an absolute gem in the neighborhood!(BTW, extra points if you get to see Lloyd, he was extremely friendly and a great conversationalist!)
