Barcade is one of the longstanding Downtown JC classic spots. Fun for all occasions, reasonable prices, good games, good drinks, and good atmosphere.

Cheap drinks, super fun and nostalgic games. Crazy taxi brought back memories from when I was like 10 years old playing on the PS1

I was pleasantly surprised that the food was actually really good. I expected it to be terrible to be honest, the food will definitely bring me back.I enjoyed the time there, the games of course is what brought me in. I was however very sad to see they didn't have Mortal Kombat II here. I wish there was a request form to start asking for a game to be added because that would definitely bring me back religiously.I asked a member of the staff if they've ever had the game and that was the first time i found out that they have multiple locations, I guess I'll be visiting the one in NYC for my Mortal Kombat II fix but it would be so ideal if it was in my home town.Overall, the place delivered a great first time experience for me.

You need to make sure you have identification to even get inside, fine but the guy that was checking for it was quite rude about it. Wouldn't even walk pass this place again just based on that experience alone.

A great place to lounge and play some retro games. They have a lot of classics here but unfortunately don’t have any of the newer games which is fine. The food is actually really good and not bad prices. Drinks are good but this is a beer place for sure, they swap out the beer selection every few weeks it seems. The service is also decent but sometimes you may need to wait 4-5 minutes for someone to get to you, although recently it has improved. The new woman manager with blonde hair is doing a great job. The cup cleaning process is kind of gross, you can see how they clean all the cups and its basically 3 sinks in the bar that they dip each cup one by one in each sink but when they pull out the cups there’s still soap suds on them, everyone there is drinking soap. Whatever I guess, pretty gross though.

Terrible place. The men at the door who check IDs like to play out their bouncer fantasies, LOL. Invasively checking the inside of females coats/Halloween costumes & then ask you to leave any items at the door. Why would I leave something I actually paid money for in the hands of two neanderthal boneheads? No thanks! Will continue to go elsewhere & support better establishments. Check your egos mates….& stop trying to practically pat females down before you end up with a lawsuit on your hands.

We came here after dinner for some drinks and entertainment, about 10pm on a Friday. Good crowd but not so much that you couldn’t get to any games. Lots to choose from and good variety. Only downside was several of the machines took my tokens without allowing gameplay.

Great service. Food was also really good. I had a veggie sandwich and chips and a beer for 16 bucks.

I love visiting barcade in NYC but this location fell short for me. It was on the small side (the Williamsburg location is my favorite and much larger). Half the machines I put in tokens for just ate the token and didn't work. Then I was given tokens from the machine that were too big to fit in some of the games? Overall just a frustrating experience here.
