OH MY LORD why does everything have to be so spicy / hot???!!!!I ordered the following items via DoorDash -Pav BhajiButter ChickenCheese Samosa PavThere was no option on the menu to select spice level and no place to add any comments. And what I got was literally inedible and I ended up throwing out everything.Every item was way too spicy / hot.I tried the butter chicken first -It tasted NOTHING like Butter Chicken firstly, and it was so spicy that I thought I would pass out after 2 bites. Also, the dish quantity was very little and half of it was just the oil!!!I kept that aside and thought the Pav Bhaji may be better but it really wasn’t. Same issue - way too spicy and inedible for someone with my spice tolerance. The Cheese in the Samosa Pav was also not enough to reduce the spice level of this dish.If you want to make everything so high in spice level, then it would be best to advertise it upfront so people are cautioned at the time of ordering.I wasted $40 worth of food because it was inedible. Will not be ordering from here again.

My visit to Bombay Vada House felt like a quick trip from New Jersey to Mumbai. The restaurant's vibrant ambiance and authentic flavors truly capture the essence of the bustling streets of Mumbai. From the crispy Vada Pav to the creamy Palak Paneer with Tawa Roti and the aromatic Egg Biryani, each dish transported us to India's culinary heart. With friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, Bombay Vada House offers an unforgettable taste of Mumbai right here in New Jersey.

While the place is very neat and tidy, the service is good, the food itself was not good. We ordered multiple things some of them were acceptable, one was stale and some were decent/good. The Bombay Grill Sandwich and pan were good, the Dabeli was stale and smelly. The tea and vada pav were decent. Achari paneer roll was barely acceptable. Not sure if I'd recommend the place.

Casual / walk-in place, and the food is spot-on with textures, flavors and proper preparation. Had lunch there recently, with a mix of chaats and sandwiches, and we enjoyed everything. Service was excellent - not rushed at all, and checked back with us appropriately. Will definitely go back.

The food was very tasty. We ordered dal makhani and Kadhai paneer and loved both. Dal makhani was incredible. Will be adding this place to our regulars!

A casual / walk-in spot with plenty of tables. Have been here twice, most recently to enjoy a long lunch with a group of friends. The service was excellent and we were not rushed at all. The food is spot-on. It had the right amount of spice and all the right sauces and seasonings. I especially enjoyed the Bombay sandwich - a crisp toasted sandwich with perfectly sliced veggies, melty cheese and cilantro and garlic chutney. Will definitely go back.

The food was great and the service was even better! Manas made sure we were taken care of. The music was a great backdrop too! I'll definitely be back

We ordered from Grubhub: Chicken 65 Roll ($12.99), Spicy chicken wings w/ Spicy French Fries ($12.99), Vapa pav and Dabeli Combo (2pcs) ($12.99), Chicken tikka Roll ($12.99), Lemon Coriander Soup ($4.99), Chicken soup ($5.99) Chicken 65 Roll: It was spicy chicken rolled in a chapati. Not sure why they call is Kathi Roll, nothing was crispy, there was no sauce, everything was falling apart and it was too spicy. Flavor 5/10. Spicy Chicken Wings: 4 Wings for $12.99, seems unreasonable, I can understand if the flavor was extraordinary but it was 6/10. Chicken tikka Roll: In Grubhub menu it says, two pieces but got only one. Same as Chicken 65 Roll, chicken rolled in not well made chapati, no sauce. Flavor 5/10 Soups: Not sure what they used as broth but it did not taste like vegetable or chicken broth, it was something else, creamy, tasteless. Flavor: 3/10. Not surprising that there were no napkins, utensils, etc. Disappointing is not even a word for $90 order. I would have given it negative starts but that is no possible so sticking with single star.
