I ordered the stewed chicken. It was dry as heck, I got the rice n peas it was a lot and mushy. No gravy on the stewed chicken, it looked liked they scattered a few shreds of cabbage on top, no plantains. The young man answered the door was rude. They had the door locked. Maybe it was the time of day, but service and quality should be all day until they close. Not going back to that place again when I’m in Jersey City.

The combos make no sense, just a bunch of random options thrown together that don’t even taste good to try and finesse you out your money smh. I use to order here all the time and then the prices went thru the roof, the food quality definitely declined and they got rid of the jerk pork which was easily the best thing on the menu smh

The service is like any other Jamaican place, with a some sass in serving you but food is pretty good! As a Jamaican I'd come back when I don't feel like cooking. I ordered jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage and plantain. I was surprised by the jerk sauce being so dark but taste good!

I am big on supporting small businesses. This was my first time ordering from this spot. The bottom line is the food is terrible!!!! Goat meat sits in a bowl of curry water instead of sauce and it is tasteless. Same with their so-called jerk chicken, not cooked in jerk sauce instead they poured a sauce from a bottle on top of the chicken like ketchup lol. I am going back to my old spot, sorry, first and last time.......

I placed an order through uber eats today and this store cancelled it and the uber eats site they said I called and canceled it which I never did. So I called them to ask what was the reason for cancelation and the girl said because we are unable to make it. Like seriously? You're unable to make the food? So why do you have the food up on uber eats? So really disappointed because I always place large orders and for the to lie and said I called to cancel it. Please do better, if an item is not available temove it from the site instead of just canceling orders and giving ridiculous reason saying "because you're unable to make it"

Firstly, I honestly rather just cook it myself because authentic Jamaican flavor isn't present in the curry chicken here. The curry was not giving any flavor. The chicken was still fresh and what that means in the caribbean community is that its not well seasoned so you can taste the blandness in the meat. Flavor is very important! I didn't order the plantains because they looked dry and hard. I like mine soft and sweet. The rice and beans was cooked well. The Mac n cheese pie is something I definitely will have to pass on because it's not really flavorful and ppl always get happy when they see mac n cheese on a menu. My meal today was ideal for a seniors diet that has to manage their salt intake. My island folks will roast me if I recommend them to order from here! If you had to eat here order the mini size lunch.

I didn't enjoy the food at all. I ordered the oxtail dinner and the rice was too sticky/soft. I had more rice than the oxtail. Oxtail dinners are expensive , but at this restaurant it was not worth it all.

nice people, but the food is trash. Ordered curry goat, it was fatty, bony and small potions, cheese cake was alright although prepackaged. Banana was meh, dried out. Please be better. Curry goat is very expensive, prepare it properly please.

When a Caribbean spot is empty at 12:30pm on a Friday in the hood and right next to a construction site you know it's bad. First off it's very clean and the woman is very very nice but the food is horrible. Let's start with the pattys. They were so bad. I buy frozen ones in ShopRite that asta. The j*** chicken is so dry. The Ox tail and Curry Goat are like a soup and the oxtail didn't have the thicker sweet brown gravy. It was like a soup and it was yellow. The Curry Goat was exactly the same just with goat instead of Ox Tail and they put carrots in both dishes. I was upset it was white rice. Where's the cabbage with the veggies and Lima beans. Rice with peas and the delicious brown gravy from the ox tail. Very disappointed. Good portion.Fist off! I don't say anything that wasn't true. Now you instantly make it racial. It was gross obviously you don't taste your food or your drinks because if you did they wouldn't be sold. Learn how to cook then take a course on social skills. OBVIOUSLY THE FOOD IS DISGUSTING. YOU ONLY NEED TO READ THE REVIEWS TO SEE. ITS SAD THAT YOU BEING A BAD COOK TURNS YOU INTO A RACIST AND YOU CLAIM TO BE RELIGIOUS. I GUESS YOU CHOOSE TO DO THE DEVILS WORK.
