Purchased a cake for my birthday and was pretty disappointed. There was hardly any filling of pineapple, and the frosting was hard. The cake itself was pretty dry as well. I would have been better off purchasing a cake at the supermarket.

My family has been going here for years. Never a single complaint. They specialize in Dominican cakes. Service is great. Ambiance shows you how serious they take their business. It shows history & tradition in the walls. The cakes are always on point!

I've been a long-time customer of Carmen Rosa's Bakery since they sold cakes out of their home near Greenville. The cakes were more amazing back then. But closer to this time, the quality has declined. I've purchased quite a few cakes that have been dry and both hard on the inside and outside. Usually I go when they might have the most orders during the holiday and its understanble that most cakes will be pre-made in high quantities to satisfy the demand. However, it's been a letdown lately because i know their potential. Hopefully, they are able to maintain quality as they grow. As far as the service, it is always great. They have a small sit-down area but not comfortable enough to stay.

It's Liz again, my mother ordered another one yesterday and it was terrible, the dry sigh and the pastry cream filling was not there.

They called us before to change the delivery time later than what was agreed and when we arrived at the time it was the cake it did not appear and we took a long time for two and waiting with the time counted, when we saw the result it was nothing like it. What we were looking for was airbrushed but the color was uneven and the sigh had dried 0/10

I’ve been ordering here for over 10 years and this time was horrible it looked like everything was rushed. They used styrofoam to make decorations disappointing.

I had accidentally put in Carmen Rosa's address instead of another bakery's address (with better Google reviews) in my GPS. When I saw how many people were lined up for cakes, I decided to give it a try. Welp, I should've just gotten back into my car. I purchased a traditional dominican cake with dulce de leche filling. Great disappointment to find that it was more like a milk pudding, which was tasteless. The cake was so dry and the meringue tasted, oddly enough, like wax. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews for this bakery.
