Finding a quick lunch spot on a rainy day can be quite a challenge, given the abundance of choices in the area. However, despite my initial hesitation, choosing this particular place turned out to be the best decision. From the moment we stepped inside until the moment we left, it was evident that the family who owned this small business put in a tremendous amount of hard work. This hidden gem is an absolute must-try for everyone. It was a pleasure interacting with the daughter, son, and the mom, who served as both the owner and cook.Being a foodie and chef myself, I couldn't resist approaching the owner and asking her to surprise me with her recommendations. She delighted me with two delicious pupusas, a mouthwatering breakfast burrito, and a delectable baleada. These choices were absolutely fantastic. On my next visit, I am definitely going to try the beef soup and the Cuban, which unfortunately were sold out this time. It's no surprise that everyone was craving soup on such a rainy day. And let's not forget about the addictive passion fruit or mango smoothie!Overall, this place exceeded my expectations and left me craving for more. It's a true gem that deserves all the recognition it can get.

They charged $14.00 for a "SMALL" soup. Two small pieces of beef, two nasty tasting carrots, some potato, and a broath that tasted like chicken instead. Save your money and go somewhere else.Upon reading the feedback based on the review of my experience I must add that you are correct in the fact that I only have one review. I was not however defaming any business. I gave my review of the experience I had. I have been tou your restaurant before. Twice before to be exact. I did not dislike my 1st experience. The 2nd time I had the same dish. This last time I had the soup, and to my opinion, it was not a good experience. I am not trying to bring down your establishment, I was merely sharing my opinion. Whether you know who I am or not is not the issue here. What is is the fact that your soup was subpar at best and expensive foe just broth and a few vegetables with very little meat.

Been on my bucket list. This shop closes early so I have to make an effort. The 4.8 star is pretty unusual for a restaurant rated by many already and I want to know why. This place is authentically amazing, unlike Pinwheel Garden which serves yucky food but rate everything by themselves. I waited for 20min just like what other reviews say but I’m still giving it 5 star. They grill everything from scratch so it’s really good. It’s like the best I have had this year and it’s inexpensive!! The wait doesn’t deter me from rating it 5 star. I believe they get their high rating even if there’s a wait because their food is just so exceptional. My pork chop is grilled so well, so juicy, and so thick. I had something much worse in a Japanese restaurant before, a pork belly katsu, for 2.5 times the price (unhappy!). The trick is to call to order beforehand :) I’m so in love with the food and the place. The waiters are all really nice too.
Cute and cozy place but the best part is the great food and taste. ?

The food is one of the best cooked in Jersey City. Vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. The grill chicken is fire. Will definitely recommend it to everyone
