The staff is always so friendly. There is also a lot of seating here and makes for a good location to get some work done.

I had made a pre order for 8am pickup on a Sunday. We go there right on the dot just to find out they are closed. It’s the right location, got there on time and there was no one. This location does not open at 8am on Sundays. I don’t recommend on doing online order at for this location. It’s a waste of time and money.Update: After around 40mins of waiting, someone dropping off bins of pastry items was nice enough to help find our bag. I’m still disappointed on finding out that you’re able to order items from a location that’s closed on Sunday.

I frequent Choc Pain at least 2 times per week. Service and food are good with the exception of today. I ordered a sandwich and coffee. The coffee was luke warm, not hot and tasted like mud. It was the worst coffee i ever tasted. Not sure what happened as usually the coffee is

I’ve found this place to follow no regular taste standard in terms on their coffee. Each time I’ve been here the Barista is different and so is the coffee taste. It’s quite annoying to spend $5 seeking for a decent cup of coffee.

The worst managed business I have ever been to. They are out of everything all the time. The staff is pleasant but : no sugar: no napkins: items on the menu are usually unavailable. Just terrible.

Love this bakery and all their pastries! Get the seasonal pastries because they're limited and they're always so good.

Babkas, chocolate croissants, madeleines, oat milk lattes, hot teas... one of my favorite Hoboken bakeries when my sweet tooth kicks in. They have a nice selection of pastries all baked fresh (you can catch them late at night prepping while the rest of Hoboken is still hopping between bars). Some of my favorites are the chocolate babkas & almond croissant, but I switch it up from something super sweet to super simple depending on my mood. I usually always get my classic oat milk latte but sometimes will get just a hot black coffee, hot tea, maybe an iced latte when it's hot out. Everything is always made just right. I don't live in the area anymore but find myself close by often enough to stop in. They also have a JC Heights location equally as lovely. *Other great things: super friendly baristas, lots of tables and an upstairs with more room and strong wifi. *They don't allow pups in so don't plan to come with your furry friend.

Recently moved to JC. This pastry shop is the best one I found so far. Their croissant is pretty good. Staff are always friendly. Cute and cozy place. Their olive cake was ok.

We really enjoy this neighborhood spot! It hits the spot every time. Their croissants are flaky, fresh and delicious. Their loaves of bread, which they will cut for you if you ask, is also really good and high quality. We came for breakfasts and had their ham & cheese croissant and egg & veggie sandwich, and those we probably could've passed in. The egg & veggie sandwich especially was dry and not super flavorful unfortunately. The pastries are good though! We also tried samples of their chocolate and (I think) apple tarts and oh my gosh, so delicious!!! They have a rewards program that is 1 point for $1 spent, and you get a drink of choice after 25 points.

Nice little cafe and bakery in jersey city. It’s a welcoming space with ample seating across to hang out with friends or by yourself. Super friendly barista being a plus. They’ve got plenty of bread/croissant options to choose from to accompany your hot cuppa. Will be new fav place to grab a coffee whenever the caffeine urge kicks in.
