Worst steak I've ever had in a restaurant! Especially for $32!Very nice atmosphere. I suspect it's a great place as a bar on the weekends and I've had breakfast here before and it was perfectly acceptable.Tonight however I had the steak. It was one of the cheapest cuts of steaks I have ever experienced! It was very similar to what you would find at a Waffle House in the South, except it was $32 instead of $14. If you're old enough to remember ponderosa or Bonanza, You will remember that those chains sold a steak for about $2. Granted, this was 30 years ago, but the steak they served for $2 was a higher quality product than what life experience here. I had the ribeye. It definitely did not match the description on the menu. You can tell from picture that it was an extremely low quality piece of meat. The service was on par with the steak. It was not bad,, but it definitely wasn't great. The prices are somewhat unreasonable for the quality, with the exception of their breakfast options. If I return, which is unlikely, it would only be for breakfast.

Though I do not often post reviews, I was appalled by the service experience at my recent first visit to this restaurant. The waiter, who also functioned as a bartender, was highly irritable on several instances. He would speak ill to his coworkers and other customers about people asking for relatively basic things, such as parents at an adjacent table requesting a pen and paper so their toddler could scribble at the table or when my friend asked if he had any recommendations for sandwiches among the 30+ options. The food was mediocre although soured by the experience of the regrettable service. I may give it a shot again for what I understand is a decent brunch option in the area but I would urge management to hold the staff to a higher standard.

Dined in with a party of 3. The menu has a lot of options to choose from. I ordered the southern fried chicken with a biscuit. The chicken wasn’t southern fried, just regular fried and the biscuit was a dry version of the ones they give you at KFC. The rest of my party had the chicken parm sandwich which was a big portion and good in taste. The esthetics and atmosphere of the place is very nice. The host was professional and accommodating. However the service was below average. The waiter took about 20mins to take our order and it wasn’t crowded at all. Nothing was done special to make up for the inconvenience. Being that it’s located in exchange place I expected better. The bar is nice with plenty of options but no TV. They have a silly sign that says “bar” on the wall where a tv should go.

TOP NOTCH!!!!We had a delicious meal and wonderful service. We were at the Bridal Market, staying at the Hyatt Regency, and this place was a super quick walk for SUPER good food and dining!!! I love the HG, but their breakfast prices were unreasonable. At City Diner, the prices are perfectly fine! Atmosphere was stellar, food was perfect, and THE CHEESECAKE was AMAZING, best I have had in years!!! Thank you for a great breakfast!!!

Amazing staff, delicious food and a great vibe overall! I've had the "grown up mac n cheese" and believe me when I say that as simple as a regular mac n cheese is, the one at City Diner is next level!??
Totally Enjoyed !
