So I ordered a salchiPapa through the phone. It took 40 minutes to make one salchipapa order. I have ordered there 2 times this year. The first time I went the price was $11 plus their credit card machine “didnt work” but it went through. Now that i went back it was $7.Then when I asked for hot sauce she said it was extra. Mind you if you go to Peruvian restaurants you know that your orders comes with hot sauce all the time rather its an empanada or a relleno. When i opened it it had a little bit of sauce, which wasn't the sauce from before. Very bad experience i didnt even eat it sadly.

I don't like places that are stingy with their sauce. I ordered the chicken chaufa, which was super dry btw. They only give you 1 small packet of green sauce for a large order of dry chaufa. I recommend El Gordo better, which is a couple blocks down on central.

Food was prepared on the spot which is why they get 2 stars but other than that, the taste was bland. They did not have a lot of things in the menu and it just wasn’t a pleasant experience.

The food is Alright here. The small space is narrow so if you come in a group be aware. The waitress that attended us and the movie that was playing was the highlight of the place. At least we tried the food but we wouldn't come back. The chicken was dry. However, the rice was good. IT'S crazy that they charge for sauces and containers to go But you do what you must do. They do give you a discount if you pay with

Cebiche de pescado was ok and the rotisserie chicken was dissapointing, looks like last night chicken left over microwaved. Not worth at all, first and last time we order from this place.

Honestly I was a little hesitant ordering from here because of all the negative reviews but to my surprise when the food arrived it all looked amazing! The portion of the meals were more then enough, I ordered the lomo saltado, papa huanchaena, side of beans and green salad. The food was super tasty and even still hot when delivered. Will most likely order from here again happy I took a risk!
As a Peruvian, I love trying new place all the time. I have never been so disappointed. It was the only Peruvian place near me with dessert and i was so excited. I have never felt more let down. The arroz con leche was fizzy and spoiled. The lomo saltado was absolutely bland. The rice and fries were dry, the steak was super firm and dry. The alfajores crumpled so fast from how dry it was. And the lucuma tasted more like coconut. I am so saddened honestly. I was so excited and now just sad.

Real horrible service. Several times and similar mistakes. Bad food in general. 1. Ceviche was spicy... after asking non spicy. I called and the lady said all Peruvian food is hot... so I had to throw. 2. Late service. Despite being 4 blocks away. 3. Horrible packaging. Always always spilled. I really hope it's not opened as some reviews state... Last week was the latest. This was due to the person ordering (not a local) ordering to go. [If I knew I would have informed them not to order from here... ]The green spaghetti was cooked with cream/sauce that expired. It was rotten and had an after taste and a disturbing smell. Which we had to drive back and drop off, as proof to get a refund with barely an apology. After this I threw the rest of the order as I lost any trust to eat from here.

The food is horrible and the owner would continue to make inappropriate comments to my underage daughter even though we let him know that it made her uncomfortable and it was highly inappropriate. Only reason I'm putting five stars is so the comment will be highlighted and everyone could see how disgusting the owner and staff of this restaurant is!
