Good drinks, good queso, good sides. The problem here is that the meats are mostly dry, small portions, and overpriced. Hope they improve because this place has a lot of potential but you can't have better sides than meat as a BBQ place!

I was excited to try Hamilton Pork but did not end up being a huge fan. The brisket we ordered tasted good, as did the sides of pickled vegetables that came with the two entrees. The half back of baby back ribs was too sweet and a little tough. The mac & cheese tasted fine but felt under seasoned. Recommend getting a side of their hot sauce, which is tangy and tastes great. The two BBQ sauces they came with the meal were also both very sweet. Overall the ambiance of the restaurant is unique and the service was good.

It’s alright at best, service is terrible. They have 2 servers and one of them is serving and acting as a host. Food was cold when it came out. Gave this place two chances, will not be returning.

Casual little gem in Jersey City..the food was great, all the sauces were great and their own beer was great as well. Tried the 4 meat meal with 3 sides and the guac and smoked wings to start. Out of all of it I'd say a small improvement can be made w the baked beans. They need a bit more sweetness and pork, other than that everything we had was fantastic and the place ran very well because of their manager who checked on us 3 times...good man.

Came here for lunch on a weekend. Parking was challenging but with patience and determination we were able to find parking on the street. The meat selections were good. But to be honest, I was more thrilled about their sides: Mexican street corn and sweet mashed potato were amazing!

I ordered the worst Al pastor tacos I've ever had. For a place with "pork" in its name they sure know how to make a rubbery, flavorless, chopped pork taco. Tacos came w no taco sauce (tomatillo or something of the like) to at least lubricate the dry pieces so I could swallow them better. I'm giving more than one star because my husband had the fish tacos and they were fine, standard, lackluster but not gross. I forgot to take a picture of those. The avocado taco was good. Maybe unrelated but I went to the bathroom and had to clean it up before taking a leak. Couldn't squat bc the toilets are almost at the height of a bar stool. Paper towels were overflowing from the trash, going everywhere. Kinda odd since it was the middle of the afternoon, the place was well-staffed and there were hardly any customers. I hate to leave a bad review but Com'n. Pork is your name!

Sat for 30 minutes before our waiter came over. The waiters just go to any table they want? They don't have assigned sections from what I could tell. After waiting another 40 minutes for our food the waiter tells us they ran out of brisket which we ordered. Hard to not think if someone came up to us sooner we maybe could've gotten brisket...disappointing. This place isn't cheap either so paying for something we didn't really want is annoying. The food was fine nothing special. We never got water refilled or silverware with appitizers, entrees, or dessert. Had to ask for it for all three. The bartenders, hosts, and waiters all seemed to hangout by the computer and not check on anyone. It was super frustrating. We saw multiple people have to ask for the check or something they needed. Understaffing is one issue but no one seemed to be doing their job. The bussing crew and food runners did a great job however and were super nice. Left disappointed on the price of everything for the service we got

It was a long time ago. I dealt with what I assume was a rude bar back/table cleaner who took offense to a "walking dead" tshirt I was wearing. The balls to come to my table and interrupt our meal like that for that. I only write this cause it came up on my FB memories and I never could remember the name of the location. Food was fine. Nice looking place. D1psh1t service.

3.5 stars! Just left and the place is nice and aesthetically pleasing, tables were shining. The food was good - tacos were ok. But the BIG BEEF RIB was delicious. We went for a birthday and I wanted to do something special. I asked the host what they usually do and she offered a dessert that came with one candle, so kind of underwhelming. The churro sandwich was delicious, but was on our check at the end of the night. Not really a good place to celebrate anything special! Otherwise, thankful for the service :)
