If you're looking for authentic Jamaican, food this is the place! I ordered the jerk chicken, rice, cabbage and collard greens. I wasn't able to eat until about three hours later and it was still extremely flavorful and fresh. It's also worth mentioning that the entire meal, including three beef patties was barely $20. Almost half the price of what some of the other restaurants I've been to cost. The person who waited on me was also very friendly and accommodating.

The rice and peas was sour. The food tasted like it was cooked three days ago and left out overnight. The turkey wings were well cooked and tasty.I was hoping for so much considering this is an Antiguan restaurant. Antiguan food is like Jamaican food except the Antiguan food is generally less salt and oil, more fresher, with a focus on well cooked veggies and proteins and a sweet carb that’s usually boiled.I can tell this place is authentic Antiguan but when I arrived they didn’t have half of the menu ready to serve (No beef ribs, salt fish, duccanna, fungi, chop chop, johnny cakes) and like I said the food tasted like it was left out overnight; it wasn’t fresh. I was also disappointed they didn’t have a pepper pot on the menu either.I don’t think I”ll go back to this place which is such a huge disappointment. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because they’re the only Antiguan restaurant in the Tri state area so I’m hopeful they will take their responsibilities serious in the future when they serve the public. My suggestion is don’t have Chef Mikey (microwave) prepare yesterdays leftovers, then serve it to the public. Or at least sniff it before you serve it. Because that food was sour when I got home.

I always make my way to have oxtails rice and yams. Today I went and order my usual and into see the price went up and the player is smaller. I still payed and left when I tasted my food the rice was so hard and the yams wasn’t soft. I can’t believe what I recieved.

I was a little disappointed with the flavor of the curry goat and quality of the roti skin. The curry goat was not so tasty and the roti skin was a little old, like yesterday's leftover.

Everything was delicious, from the bread and bun to the snacks in the hot window. And to top it off the local drinks were amazing. Was too early for the rice pudding but will surely be back for it. Everything else tasted just like home ! Will visit every time I am in Jersey !
