Horrible experience, we went there for some snacks and pani puri, the lady at the pani puri stall was extremely rude and tried to rush everyone, we waited in queue for pani puri but she started serving some random customers who just got in even after seeing people standing in queue. She even started abusing at some point when we told her that she has to be respectful to her customers while running a business. There is also not enough space inside for people to sit/stand and eat, you feel rushed with everything there. Samosas and puffs were stale and had a weird smell as well. Never going here again.

Food is great, plus I prefer the cake from here than red ribbon so give it try? I have been getting birthday cakes from here consistently for couple years now ?They are busy so the service can be slow at times but totally worth the wait time.Atmosphere is what you would imagine indian square atmosphere to be like lol very jam packed when people, the game 3 stalls serving food inside the store so there are 2 different lines and it can get a bit chaotic. But again totally worth it in my opinion 10/10 ??

After ~15 years of very good cakes they've changed their recipe and the cakes are now horrendous. Tons of chemicals that make it shelf stable, sour, and very artificial. Do not buy their cakes at any cost. Good luck trying to get any semblance of customer service or attention.

Worst cake i ever had. There was a time when they used to have good cake ( I generally used to get pineapple cake from hot breads). This time when I went to hot bread shop to get nice birthday cake. After looking all the options I ordered one rasmalai cake ( as per guy at the counter it was rasmalai cake but from looking outside it was always having doubts in my mind). At home after cutting the cake it was all white inside. Taste wise it had sour and not at all having any taste of rasmalai. I called the hot bread and explained about their cake, the guy over the phone told me to come with the cake and he will send it to kitchen for verify. I went to their shop with small piece of cake. They verified and told me to wait as they will prepare another cake for me( which again i had doubt that they really know how to make rasmalai cake). They issued me refund after i told most of my guest have left.

I bought Kit Kat flavor cake worth of $45 for friend’s bday on November 5th’2023 around 1 pm after confirming with them weather it’s fresh or not. The person on counter said that cake was made last evening.However when we cut the cake it was most worst and stale cake ever i ate, it spoiled entire bday party mood.Worse cake shop in jersey city.

The pani puri is good but worst service. We ordered 4 paani puri one for there and rest 3 togo and the lady at the station started arguing because she thought she gave us total 8 pieces. I told the lady I would not lie for 1 piece of paani puri and then the rest 3 we ordered to go and I told her it is 24 pieces right and the lady was like yes. When I took it home and counted its 2 pieces less. GUYS make sure to count paani puri pieces while you are there or take it to go. We also tried calling to let them know know but their phone off so we had to write a review.

Bugs on the cakes and management doesn’t care about maintaining proper lines. They let people cut across the lines without any consequences or consideration for people who have been waiting in line the right way. Absolutely pathetic!
