I love these guys sometimes, but only sometimes because they are so inconsistent with their chicken.Depressingly, my top tip is - don't order the large wings. Every time I order the large, the wings are really bad quality, smaller and often slightly over cooked. The medium tends to be really good - I don't get the discrepancy? It's a bummer though.

Find a new chef. The audacity to serve burnt food.I just came back to my office and opened the container to be severely disappointed. Will not be coming back.

Food quality is in the trash. Wings and strips always burnt.

I had it delivered, but the chicken and dumplings were so burnt that it was hard to eat them. This is the worst chicken I've had in years. Tteokbokki can also be eaten in moderation at home. It's worse than eating it, and since it's my first delivery, I don't know if it's always like this or just today.

I ordered a large catering order from Kimchi guys for a company meeting, and it was INCREDIBLE! David Lee, the owner, was super accommodating and helped me order an appropriate amount for ~70 people for a "sampler plate" of everything on a Friday afternoon, talking me through all my options and helping me select the right foods.1. Food was absolutely phenomenal, and so many employees gave raving compliments. We ordered vegetable mandu & beef mandu, Tteokbokki with Gochujang, and Kimchi - and it was all delicious. The mandu were flavorful and didn't even require a dipping sauce like so many dumplings, the Tteokbokki was spicy and chewy, and the kimchi was crunchy and amazing (their kimchi is made with Fish sauce). David (the owner) even made one order of the Tteokbokki vegan for us (without the fish cakes and cheese) without charge!2. David was able to accommodate my last-minute order (ordered the Friday before, the event was the following Wednesday) and delivered exactly at the requested time (delivery to Chelsea in Manhattan at 3:30 PM). He texted and kept me updated, and the food was delivered hot and cleanly packaged. He made sure to tell me which items were which too so they could be labeled for allergens.3. We had tons of leftovers and I put them out today (Thursday) for employees to take, and everything was just as tasty the next day. We immediately had a bunch of people lining up to get more once I made the announcement! All in all, this was a delicious choice and the only negative is that it isn't located closer to me! 11/10 would recommend(See some next-day photos of the amazing leftovers! Pictured is the Beef Mandu, Tteokbokki, and Kimchi)Vegetarian options: They were able to make some items vegetarian for me without issues, and they have many veggie options like fried rice and dumplings as well1

Finally tried this place and it was really tasty. I got the Kimchi Guys Bowl with Spicy Chicken. Good combination of chicken, kimchi, noodle, rice, and greens. I also tried the Matcha bubble Tea which was decent.Vegetarian options: There was one dish and some sides that were vegetarian friendly but this is mostly a place for meat eaters.

Usually I get the wings but I got the strips this time. Flavor is there but its so dry! Most likely because its cut into very thin flat strips so it dries out before it gets crispy. Wont be ordering the strips again ill stick to

Surprising! The shrimp shumai were small delicious bites. The spicy flavor option of the Korean fried chicken strips was really saucy and flavorful. But the chicken katsu was surprisingly not great- kinda chewy, thin and no taste. Overall I’m glad I tried it but likely wouldn’t get these food items again.

Place closes at 9pm but before 8pm the blonde older woman who’s not really blonde will make sure you’re out of the place ASAP... Honestly her energy in this place you can tell makes everyone uncomfortable. Talks under her breath if you don’t say have a good day back… The young lady with the glasses on the counter was amazing though! She answers your questions and has great customer service.

I ordered the fried dumplings and my friend got the small order of chicken wings. Both were pretty good and came with the same sauce. I had originally wanted to get the twirly potato stick (tornado potato) but they no longer served it. I would say it was the perfect snack to have, although it wasn't the best wings I've had, it hit the spot.

Great service and food at reasonable price. If you are around this area, I highly recommend their fried chicken and fries.

DECENT FRIED CHICKEN. I always wanted to see more affordable Korean restaurants in Jersey City. Few has appeared and most has closed its doors as I observed their prohivitive price range. Kimchi Guys also is a bit pricey but the lunch special was OK at $10. The fried chicken was good but wished the marination absorbed all the way inside the chicken like Bonchon chicken. This is a mostly take-out place. A few seats are available, though, if you choose to dine in.

I ordered a food delivery, and everything is burned and overcooked, even the fries. It is not my first time order here, but the worst experience ever had. I am not sure if the chief know it is burned but still delivered to customer because is not dine in?
