Food was not great. Miso soup had very little miso and had no dashi in it. The onigiri had very not fresh seafood too. Also had to squeeze into the table at this place.

Really tasty and fast! I had the kimchi soup which had a bit of spice and salmon & tuna musubi.

Wait, did this place double their prices?? Used to be a little over $3 each now it's almost $6?? That's not great. I used to love coming here. Now, I can't justify the price to quality ratio.

I ordered via Uber Eats and it took 40 minutes after my order was placed to be told they were out of the curry flavor. I thought it was inconvenient but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, kept an open mind, and requested an alternative.I was so disappointed that the rice balls were cold, bland and had barely any filling.

Was very disappointed by this place. I LOVE rice balls and I got takeout and they were so salty i couldn’t get myself to finish them. Idk if someone messed up or something or if they are always like that

Oh Koro Koro. What happened? When we used to live in JC, it was one of our quick go to spots. Since we were in the area, we thought we would pick up some and have our daughter try it. When I walked in, the vibe was different. It wasn't as cute as it used to be. The guy working the counter seemed miserable and the kitchen area was not as clean. When we got home to dig into it, we were not pleased. It was packed with rice and very little meat. It was also very bland. No love in the food. Have the owners/cooks changed?

I ordered delivery from here seeing as it was highly rated on ubereats and I love me a good onigiri. I almost never write reviews but this is a special case.I ordered Spam musubi, Golden Miso Shrimp Musubi, and Miso Soup. The first issue is the rice used for the musubi /onigiri was super dry. Each item would fall apart after a bite so I ended up having to eat them with utensils (isn't the point the ability to be able to travel with them and eat them with your hands?). I'm no riceball expert but I've had my share in the past and I never had a riceball/musubi so dry and fragile before. The Spam Musubi was lacking in marinade so I could barely taste anything aside from the spam and rice. Spam and rice is a good combination overall so it wasn't the worst thing. So you may be wondering why I am mentioning riceballs / onigiri when I only ordered musubis and that's because I didn't receive a Golden Miso Shrimp Musubi. Instead my order included two Sexy Shrimp Onigiri (shrimp, spicy mayo, avocado). I guess that wasn't supposed to be on the menu still and they substituted it with a shrimp item but what if I didn't like spicy or was allergic to avocado? Other places I've ordered online from in the past would call me to let me know they were out so that I could pick something else or cancel the item entirely. The Sexy Shrimp Onigiri was fairly bland and I couldn't taste much outside of spicy mayo and avocado. In fact I had no idea if there was a protein in it until I looked at the menu later on to try and figure out what it was. Because the rice was dry the nori ended up unfolding on both onigiri and on the first bite both fell apart. The Miso Soup was definitely on the milder side. The seaweed was a bit thicker and more mushy compared to other miso soup I've had in the US. It also wasn't cut into mouth sized portions and it looked like someone just threw in a giant chunk of seaweed in there. It was fine but I just ignored the seaweed.Anyway yep, very disappointed with my order. I've seen it been rated highly so not sure if this is a consistency issue or not. A rice ball focused restaurant is a cool concept that you don't see very often around here so I wish them success!

(Overall: 78% | C) - While the rice balls were not necessarily a hit, the staff were very kind and playful which brought joy to my day. Perhaps with a bit of tweaking to the seasoning could help improve the satisfaction of the food!(Truffle Tuna: 72% | C) - This rice ball has notes of the truffle oil coming through, which is nice given the low price point. Unfortunately, I found the tuna to be otherwise bland and the rice ball fell apart in a single bite.(Sexy Shrimp: 77% | C) - This one tastes a little better than the tuna because it has a little more seasoning, but I still found it to be too light. I suppose they kept it simple but perhaps a little too simple.IG: @amei.eats

It used to be good but it's very disappointing now. There is barely any meat. We ordered two sets. It was so bad without any meat. We could not eat it so we asked for to go box. They didn't give me a to-go box. They just have a paper bag to put our food in. I will never ever be going here. And I don't typically write reviews. I went in the evening on Sunday. We were also up charged for drinks because they were out of the base-tier drink.

Pickup orders should be ready by the pick up time. On three occasions orders have only started to be prepared once arriving at the location.

Best onigiri in Jersey City hands down. Would be 5 stars but delivery always puts Orange Ramune when I select Melon.

Koro Koro has not let me down yet. I discovered it on a whim while doing some work in the Jersey City area, and let me tell you I've craved it ever since. I recently had a chance to return and I can say that I was still impressed with how delicious the Onigiri was and how friendly the staff was. Please give them a visit, they are growing and have recently opened a spot in SoHo. Best of luck and will be back soon.

Disclaimer: I did not eat these right away. I ate these approximately four hours later but the rice was good dry. The onigiri rice kept breaking apart. Having said that the flavors were very good. Service was quick and efficient.

Super disappointing! I ordered the shrimp and spicy salmon. I got a tuna one instead of the shrimp so that was unfortunate. The tuna was okay, bland rice ball overall. The spicy salmon itself was good but the avocado inside of it was bad and had the stem. I would have rather the employee just tell me there is no avocado then what I received. I ate it right after purchasing so it was not sitting around for an extended period of time. Also you can see from the pictures the avocado is not just brown from air exposure but brown all through out. The employee was friendly and the rice balls themselves were wrapped correctly. Wish the quality and attention to detail was at a higher level.

Came here by accident and soooo happy for it!!They have vegan options! We got the vegan teriyaki. Very yummy. My friends got non-vegan options and they were loving them as well. Not too greasy or dense. I’m very health conscious and really look places that won’t make feel super heavy after. This was a perfect filling snack or meal
