Mediocre coffee with some of the worst service even by NYC standards. People working there act like they'd rather spit in your coffee than deal with you. Don't bother giving them the time of day, go to the other location if you have to

This place has great coffee drinks, but the crew is not comprised of the sharpest knives in the drawer. Regardless of what you order, there's about a 50% chance of them getting it right. Either ask them to repeat your order back to you or have it written down for them. ‍

Pricey. Good though. Good array of drink items. Less variety in pastry case, I prefer more gf and v alternatives from higher end cafes. Good spot in the ☀️ summer. Nice design details.

⭐⭐⭐⭐Located in the heart of downtown Jersey City, Lacwanna Coffee is a hidden gem that I'm thrilled to have discovered. What sets Lacwanna Coffee apart is its commitment to quality without breaking the bank. The prices are refreshingly affordable, making it a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. As a hot chocolate aficionado, I can attest that Lacwanna Coffee's hot chocolate is a must-try. Rich, creamy, and perfectly indulgent, it's the ultimate treat on a chilly day or any time you're craving something sweet.Whether you're in the mood for a steaming cup of joe, a decadent hot chocolate, or just a cozy spot to relax, Lacwanna Coffee has you covered. With its friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and delicious offerings, it's no wonder this place has quickly become a beloved fixture in the Jersey City community. I will not be returning to this anti-Semitic establishment. (See their Instagram page for their “River to the Sea” stance.).

Love love love Lackawanna! It is my go to for coffee on weekends after trying many location in the downtown Jersey city area! They are always consistent with the taste and quick service! My favorite is the Iced Dulce latte with Oatmilk! I love the vibes and you immediately walk into the amazing smell of coffee and their signature candle which I have to get for home! I also love the outdoor spaces when the weather is nice! So so happy to have found this gem!!!

I keep coming back to this place everytime I'm in the area. Their Turkish latte is the best thing ever.

During the summer, I go on loooonnnng bike rides. Lackawanna Coffee is my go-to for the early morning stop for a latte and a pastry. It's important to stay fueled! Great coffees, and love the pastries. My only complaint is that they often run out of the pastry goodness rather more than I'd prefer. Great little outdoor space in the back, a few tables inside. I'd love for them to include a self-service water station to allow for cyclists like me to quickly refill their water (would also help expedite patrons asking for a water with their coffee)! Cheers!

Great coffee... Prices were higher than most, but great service and flavor all around.

Adding steamed milk to drip coffee is a game changer, however, they use cold milk instead (no bueno for me). I won't be grabbing my occasional cup of Joe from this place but might stop to grab pastries from time to time. Otherwise, it's a cute little coffee shop conveniently located in downtown Jersey City.
