Great modern ambiance, quickly and friendly service. The food is portioned small but very well done. The sushi and all the ingredients are fresh. We got the sushi combo which came with salad and some salmon, followed by a variety or sushi. We ordered the hand rolls - spicy salmon, spicy tuna and fatty tuna along with Uni hand roll and the squid ink pasta with Uni.

Went for dinner and i was not disappointed. Loved the duck confit and the mushroom soup. A bit meeh with the bread pudding. It was so sweet, i could not take a second bite. Overall was okay. I will gladly come back to try different food. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The place was always full so better to have a reservation. I recommend this place!

Cozy downtown Jersey City spot for American fare prepared simply and served quickly. The cocktail menu is comprehensive and customizable. The waitstaff is friendly and informative and provides great input to enhance the dining experience. As an ad d ed touch, the friendly owner makes his way to the "front of the house" to interact with patrons. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Latham House. It was a cute place but I didn’t like the communal tables. When I go to eat I want to be able to focus on my conversation with who I’m with, not be squished between strangers. The layout of this restaurant isn’t doing it any favors. I did see some booths but wasn’t lucky enough to get one. This is a small restaurant so prepare to wait. However, the food was good and the service was very fast. They really turn people over quickly. I had a burger that was delicious - cooked perfectly! I would recommend!

Went there for brunch in Christmas eve. Called them and they accommodated us last minute.Yummy brunch options. Coffee, mimosa, hot chocolate for drinks.LH Benedict, Huevos Rancheros, French Toast - everything was yummy.Seating is great and enough sunlight for brunch ambience.Highly recommended for brunch hours.

Good drinks, delicious food and decent service. I made a last minute reservation and we were glad we picked this place. I got the ruben sandwich and fried calamari. Highly recommend!

They have vegan options! The indoor ambiance during brunch was so nice- the sun shining in definitely got us some insta worthy pics!! Waiter was super knowledgeable on the vegan options which was so nice! We got the vegan breakfast burrito and the vegan burger. The first time they accidentally put cheese on it but after that they brought a new one out. The patty was HUGE i could barely fit a bite in my mouth. Although it was tasty, i’m not sure i necessarily enjoyed how big and dry it was. The fries were crispy and delicious! Vegan burrito sandwich was good, again portion was huge and the roasted potatoes on the side were a nice touch. Their drinks are very strong- great way to have a mimosa!!Dont know if i’ll return as a vegan, but great for a brunch with non vegan friends if you need options!

I been coming here for weekend brunch, it was always good. But today I came for lunch and was amazed! The shrimp gnocchi pasta was sooo good and fresh! And the crispy calamari was taste like heaven!!! This is now my favorite spot in the area!!!!!

Big portions, cozy environment, and speedy service for a Saturday brunch. Got the chilaquiles and wished it had more of a punch. Tortillas were pretty soggy and chicken was dry. However, the egg sandwich was delicious and potatoes were tasty.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this place. It is my go to for brunch, especially when it's nice enough to sit outside. I pretty much always order Rabbi's Revenge - the challah and corned beef are amazing. I've also come for dinner a couple times - still delicious but I really come more for the desserts. If only they served desserts during brunch, then you could have the best of both worlds in one sitting :)

Love this place! Food is always delicious and nice large portions. I love how they serve their calamari over a yummy spicy sauce. Also their truffle Mac and cheese is so good, must try it. I recommend making a reservation if want to eat here Thursday-Sun gets pretty busy.

Latham house is my favorite spot for breakfast in JC! I always order the eggs your way - it comes with the BEST bacon and a delicious biscuit. So good! They also have a bunch of flavor options for mimosas, which I love. I recommend the Caribbean one and the apple cider in the fall. Service is always very attentive here - food always comes out very quick! They don't take reservations for brunch, but I've always been able to sit down quickly for a party of 2.

In town for a wedding. Went based on reviews and proximity to hotel due to wind and rain. We like to sit at bar even for supper to meet people and talk with bartenders if they have time. Drinks and food were great for us, chicken pot pie and salad with squash and beets. Bartender Juliette is a friendly and accommodating pro in mixology and conversation, including her family history in Europe. Wine list has interesting choices I like that I’ve not seen elsewhere. Other people at bar were friendly too. If we lived here we’d be regulars. Note they don’t have tv’s which encourages conversation.
