Solid breakfast sandwiches; I'd often pick one up before heading to LSP to sunbathe. Quick service, gruff but friendly staff, well priced food. Plenty of parking.

I was nearby on business, I had ate at this place before and enjoyed it so I called in a take out. Two burgers and fries...the guy that takes your order acts like he's bothered, I go in and pick up the order and I walk in he's texting- he looks at me and finishes texting before he helps me..I pick up the burgers go to eat the burger and no spread or anything...he didn't offer spread. Other then that the burger was a bit soggy but delicious.

I've always passed it driving through but I always thought it was closed. Luckily it ISN'T closed and I got to try them out on 2 different days and different time of Day. I tried them for breakfast and lunch and let me tell you that this is really a hidden gem. My favorite was the breakfast. They have specials and their normal menu and either way you can't go wrong. You get to see vintage pictures on the wall and take a look at how Jersey City was in those days. Now the best part of it all are their prices and the amount of food they give you, I was totally in shock the first time I went. They really know how to treat their customers and this has become my go to diner in Jersey City. I'm so happy I was able to stop in one day and try them out, it totally changed my perspective of the place.

The food was delicious... Great people skills even during a pandemic. Will be adding it to my if I'm in the area again list... easily one of my top 5 Burgers.

Good small diner. Good breakfast. Food comes out quick. Never really a wait. Away from everything which I like. No tall buildings or lots of people around. Just trees and fresh breeze.

If you are looking for the best Diner in town, I recommend this Diner, today was my first time dinning there and i had a great time, the food and their Hospitality was amazing, the only thing I was surprised about, no soda refill, other than that, I would definitely go back.

Great find on way to the liberty science musuem. Servers and owner were extremely friendly on busy Sunday morning, and service was quick. Food was tasty and good portion size for fair price. Great place for breakfast.

Liberty diner is a classic, small format, family diner. You'll see the church groups, softball teams, and locals all enjoying their generous menu - mine is their Pastrami Rubin with steak cut fries. It's off the beaten track in a slightly industrial area, but also perfectly situated next to liberty state park. My wife and I love to swing by and grab a car picnic on a cold winter afternoon, drive to the park and watch the boats. And my respect to the wait staff and owner. You all do a wonderful job.

The manager of this place was fired and the owner is very rude, and very unfriendly...I always tip the young waitress very well that's why we kept going back... the food is not very good the only good thing is they have byob... that's why we went in the first place...will never go again!!! The owner even had the nerve to say did I want to put the tip on my debit card as if i wouldn't tip whether the waitress deserved it or not, which she did!! Wish she was serving better food... I'm sure he didn't ask his caucasian patrons that question!!! I would vote 0 stars if I could!!! I'm sure other patrons complain because it was very empty when we went in as I expect it to be with the poor seevice... it pains me to give this updated review .. hope they owber go back home and the food is as good as the menu... maybe the manager cooked the food last time...uuugh and the response from this review from the restaurant is bogus!!!

Solid diner. Close to home. Has a small parking lot in front. Nothing fancy. Clean. Had pancakes and eggs, appreciated how they gave individual syrup packets. Waitress was pleasant. Service was good.
