A 2-minute walk from my previous home, this was a go-to place for lavish weekend brunches. They have an extensive menu with absolutely beautiful food and interior. My picks were their salads, fries, pancakes, desserts, soups, avocado toast, fish and so much more!! Couldn’t stop eating here ever! Have been to White Horse so many times and still look forward to returning! Totally recommend!

We had a great time! This place has a cool old American vibe, and the live music definitely added to the fun. The service was spot on - attentive, friendly, and quick, which really contributed to the overall great experience. Their beer list was pretty impressive, and the food was really good. The cheeseburger was amazing, perfectly cooked and super tasty. The fish and chips were also great, really fresh and crispy. Their French onion soup was some of the best I've ever had, really cheesy and flavorful. The lobster roll was a bit of a letdown because it was a bit bland and the chips were a bit overcooked, but it didn't ruin the night. The desserts were the highlight of the meal. The chocolate bread pudding was fantastic, and the banana cake was the perfect mix of flavors, especially with the espresso creme. Overall, between the delicious food, great atmosphere, and excellent service, I'd definitely recommend Lighthorse Tavern. It's a solid five-star experience.

I've had a couple of solid meals at the Light Horse Tavern. The food is good, and the menu has a ton of options so it's great for groups or picky eaters. What I really love about the Light Horse Tavern is the vibes! Every time I have been here, they've had live music. It's such a fun treat to grab a bite and enjoy some jazz music.

This second trip was much better than the first, probably because we chose the right things from the menu (the specials, halibut and the duck). The only small negative was the time it took for our first drink to arrive.Went there again. Food was great shrimp pasta, prime rib and fish and chips.

Overall we had a lovely dinner here. We made a last minute reservation and were seated on the second floor. Service was attentive and food was well paced to enjoy our bottle of wine. It’s not the cheapest place but the portions were good and everything was fresh. We started with the oyster platter and sparkling wine. Then I had the duck breast, which was perfectly good. The sides with that weren’t my fave but the beet salad paired nicely instead. My hubby had the fish and chips—so good and a nice portion. The bread pudding was just okay. I’d certainly come back again.

The food is a large step above pub food. The nachos were amazing, not your average bar food. Deviled eggs were awesome and the burgers are superior. The house wine is very good, better than I have ever had. Service was fast and friendly. This is a true affordable gem in the pricey old town area. You won’t be disappointed!

I came here to celebrate my sister getting into school. I walked in on crutches with my 4 other friends, manager didn’t really acknowledge any of us which we had a reservation. I had knee surgery week prior and wanted to come out to celebrate. I asked the manager if I could have an open chair for my leg and he proceeded to roll his eyes. I asked again if that would be okay and all he said was okay with tons of attitude left me crying at the table. Keep in mind it’s a Monday night, not busy at all no one even walked in after us. I just really hope this is not how he treats all disabled people. Manager extremely rude will never go back if this is how he’s going to treat people.

Y'all can NOT discriminate against disabled people who have Service Dogs. If someone comes in with a dog you can only ask - 'is that a service dog required for a disability' and 'what tasks is the dog trained to perform'.....thats it! If the dog is an ESA, the dog is being disruptive or the owner is seen feeding the dog from their plate you CAN kick them out. You risk being sued for harassing people who have legit service animals. Please educate your selves and your staff on the ADA guidelines and Federal Law.

Enjoyed brunch there last Sunday. Would love any type of hint as to how they make the most delicious amazing banana bread I've ever had in my life. I wanted to eat it as slowly as possible savoring every crumb! If you ever give a cooking class please let me know!
