I love having Lobster Garage in the neighborhood. It’s a fun place to get some great food and a drink. It’s small but mighty and all the food we’ve had has been delicious. There’s something perfect about a walk up lobster spot.

In the middle of winter I was craving for a coastal summer vibe. So, I ordered the shrimp basket from Lobster Garage and a bottle of rose from the nearby liquor store (I'm proudly basic). I ordered to go by the way. The venue is styled as an ocean front pub. Picture Cape Cod or even Isla Morada. It's gotta be great in the summer because they have outdoor seating. The place is very welcoming. Great staff, great location conveniently located few steps from the Path train. The friend shrimps are coated in a thick batter, and they are big pieces. It comes with ketchup, Cole slaw, and tartar sauce. Dipped in tartar sauce, they are divine. They come with a generous side of skinnt fries that are not soggy and seasoned just right. The portion of the basket is good and as corny as it sounds, it accompanied the rosè very well.

Neighborhood staple! One of my favorite spots, especially cause it’s super dog friendly. It can be pricey, but it is seafood and it’s so tasty, definitely worth it! They also have Happy Hour specials!

Delicious frozen Garage Rockets in the summer and spiced Hot Toddy's in the winter. Their warm buttered lobster roll, crab cake salad, and fresh oysters don't disappoint!

How come I just don’t learn my lesson. This place is next to Lighthorse (when we paid, we realized it’s actually part of lighthorse)Very unorganized service. Took forever for the food to come. Took our food to the wrong table and didn’t realize until minutes later. Took it back to the kitchen and repacked it (we ordered takeout). Would not come back.

Just arrived 45 mins before closing and asked if they were were still open and the service is picnic bench style, and they told us for food only to go.

I always wanted to try this place but the overall experience was "eh". The "crispy" calamari was very far from crispy so I would probably update that name on the menu and an extremely small portion. The crab cake was decent but I expected more lump crab meat for the price / restaurant type. It was a bit bready. The best item we had was probably the cheese burger, which at a "lobster garage" probably shouldn't be the case. Probably wouldn't go back. The employees were very nice though.

Horrible service. Would probably go anywhere else the Mexican street corn was a huge disappointment the corn was not soft or let alone warm. This place deserves a serving waiter, not just one bartender for how much they cha. You need to get up From your table everyone you need something, no napkins were to be found as well. Cute place however it has potential. Dessert was given without utensils and when asked I was told to get the spoons myself behind the bar. Go anywhere else.
