Our favorite place to order from in Jersey City. The food is excellent, from the perfect falafel in a delicious soft pita, to crispy and juicy schnitzel. We’ve never gotten a dish that we didn’t like. They’re also very fast, the order arrives in no time and is always accurate.

I probably ate over 100 falafel sandwiches last year from mordis for lunch. I remember when they had a food truck by exchange place and everyone looked forward to their mordis subs. This place is outstanding because the bread ( pita, rolls, subs) are high quality and tasty. Every ingredient feels good to eat from here. The price is also very reasonable for such good quality goods. The staff are friendly, efficient and make delicious lunch :) I’m thankful they exist in this neighborhood

Only complaint no wheel chair after eating the Cuban sandwich ?definitely a place to go the food was amazing!! Definitely a go to if you are in Jersey City !!Highly recommended!!!Thanks a bunch guys !!!

I am a Realtor and a client is running an hour behind for our showing down the street, so I had some time to kill. Stopped in to checkout Mordi’s and see what all the buzz was about. Greeted with a smile and immediately told me about the daily special, Meatball Parm. As you can see I went with it and man was is delicious ? You should absolutely stop by if in the neighborhood. Next time I think I will be trying the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese ?Well worth it and highly recommend ?
I am extremely disappointed this evening with Mordis. I have had it many times since we live about 5 minutes away in the neighborhood. We placed an order on the phone for a chicken parm sandwich and a grilled chicken Americano sub. I know we have to specifically specify the protein for the subs because I’ve ordered it multiple times. After my fiancé picked it up, we found out that the sandwich had chicken Schnitzel so I told him to just call them back to ask if we can bring it back and if they can make the right order. The girl who he had talked to originally picked up and then said okay and hung up. He then gets a phone call from another guy who works there who tells him that we didn’t specify it was grilled chicken and that it was our fault. We specifically did and it was the woman’s fault who clearly wasn’t paying proper attention to the phone call. He continues to say that we did not say that and that he confirmed with the woman. It’s just baffling how he would know what was said when he didn’t even speak with us. He said sorry we can’t give you a refund which isn’t even what we asked for. We just were asking to get what we had originally ordered. It is sad and disappointing that they couldn’t even admit it was their fault over one sandwich that they didn’t want to replace. Sad to say we won’t be getting Mordis anymore. True customer service right here.

I've lived near Mordi's for about 2.5 years now and I've only been a few times. I need to start going more often. I ordered the crazy Cuban, chicken parm and kids grilled cheese with fries. I ordered delivery via Ubereats since I had a coupon. The food was ready so fast. All sandwiches were delicious. Even the grilled the cheese which is a simple sandwich was so tasty. My boyfriend and I really enjoy the sandwiches at Mordi's.
